"It can't be..." Zayla muttered, "NOOOO!" She struggled against Tidus and Seth as they prevented her from going near Tanjiro and Bodoku. Seth pulled her into his chest and held her head, "don't look..." he said in a low voice. "So that's it then? We just give up?" Tidus said. "There is nothing we can do Tidus", Yuki told him, "it is too late..." Tidus waved an arm in frustration, "DAMMIT!" He yelled. "We all feel their loss but you have to stay calm, for Zayla", Ryku mentioned. Tidus paused knocking something in his pocket. "Tidus, did you hear me?" "Yeah I heard you", he said pulling the healing spray from his pocket, "look at this! I still have the spray!" "The one that sent Bodoku batty?" Zayla asked separating from Seth and wiping her nose. "Yeah! Could it..." They looked at Tonton, who shrugged, "I wouldn't get your hopes up but it's worth a try, if Devari formed the goo into a poison it would have lost its authenticity as a power, it's fused with their blood and therefore acting as a normal poison would-" "TONTON!" Tidus yelled, "will it work or won't it!?" "Maybe, hurry up and try it but DON'T touch them". Tidus quickly approached avoiding the dead stalks that Tanjiro had used. He sprayed the mist up Bodoku's nose then did the same to Tanjiro and stepped back. After a minute... "Somethings happening, look at Tanjiro", Tidus said. The black vein lines were very slowly retreating, "Choji?" Choji held out a hand towards Tanjiro, "it's working, the spray is killing the poison inside his body". "And Bodoku?" Zayla asked so he aimed at Bodoku, "I... can't tell yet..." "Will it even work on Bodoku?" Tonton looked at Ryku, "it only made him a fruit loop before because he had no z energy inside him... hopefully this counts as him have it in his blood otherwise... no... it won't work..." They stared at Tanjiro who black veins had vanished but he still wasn't moving. "You should move him away and try to revive him", Choji suggested. Tidus dragged Tanjiro away and placed him on the ground then started pumping his chest and breathing air into his lungs. "The poison, it's begun to recede", Seth pointed out. Choji stood over Bodoku, "you're right, albeit a little slower...maybe I can..." He took a breath, his eyes turning black as he attempted to help burn the poison away. Skarra glanced at him as he suddenly took a sharp breath, "Choji?" He suddenly jolted like he'd been kicked in the face and stumbled back, "Choji!" Ryku caught him and sat him down as he held one side of his face, "are you alright friend?" They glanced at Bodoku who coughed, "Ahhh..." he moaned, Zayla and Seth quickly joined him, "don't touch him yet", Seth warned noticing the poison still fading. "Bodoku, are you alright?" "I feel like... I've been hit by a natural disaster..." he said making Zayla smile, "when did you get here?" He asked Seth. Seth raised a brow, "you were poisoned by Devari, you died". "What?" "Tanjiro and I did what we could to slow it down until Choji got here, I think-" She glanced at Choji who was still holding his left eye, "he saved you". Choji looked up at her and gave a weak smile. Bodoku glanced at Tidus, "hey... what's he doing?" Zayla stayed silent so Seth spoke up, "in his attempt to slow down the poison inside you, he succumbed to the wretched darkness himself. The poison seems to have vanished in you both now and yet... he remains..." Bodoku frowned, "is he dead!?" He sat up. "Please remain calm, you are still healing-" "Screw that", he got to his feet and staggered to Tidus and Tanjiro. "Bodoku", Tidus gave a small smile, "you're alive". "What about the kid?" "I-I don't know..." Bodoku knelt down with a grunt holding his stomach wound, Tonton approached, "is all the poison gone?" "Yes..." Choji called. "Stop using your powers for now Choji", Skarra told him. Tonton tapped Tanjiro's neck then began CPR despite the aching pain in her arm.

Tanjiro opened his eyes, he was in the clouds sitting on a plain white bench, "huh...?" He muttered then stood up in a panic, "oh no! I died! I'm dead oh man!" He looked around, "Bodoku isn't here. I-I guess that's a good sign I must've saved him somehow... either that or he went to hell..." He chuckled, "what am I saying that guys too nice", his voice echoed around the empty place, "so I'm alone then..." "No brother", Yena appeared on the bench before him, "you'll never be alone". "Yena!" He cheered then his expression dropped as a shiver went down his spine, "hold on... if you're here then that means..." "I'm dead Jiro", she stood up, "Rex killed me to get Bodoku to pursue him". "That..." Tanjiro growled, tears began to stream down his cheeks, "that asshole!" He cried. Yena opened her arms, "come here little brother", she pulled him into her arms and held him tightly, "sadly this is the last we'll be seeing each other for a long while". "What do you mean? I don't want you to go... not again..." "I'm not going little brother, you are. You don't belong here yet". He looked up at her and she smiled, "don't cry, just promise me you'll live life to the fullest, and don't let anyone kill you". Tanjiro's lips trembled, "I-I promise... I love you big sister..." "I love you too little brother, I'll be watching over you". His grip on her tightened as he felt himself being pulled away... he tensed as something grabbed a hold of him, seeming to latch on as he fell...
