Hobie steps through the portal that was conjured in a random alley way in Brooklyn and turns around to hold out his hand for Casey, she pretends she doesn't see it and steps through.

His hand falls to his side as she brushes herself off and looked around the alley way, pretty much looking anywhere that wasn't him.

The boy gets behind her and picks up one of her curls, running it through his fingers before dropping it and moving her hair to the side so he could lean close and whisper in her ear.

"Why are you afraid of me?"

She waits a moment before turning her head to face him, he could feel her shaky breath on his lips.

Casey forces herself to snap out of it and walk out of the alley way so that they wouldn't be alone, so he wouldn't be her main focus.

The streets were empty.

"These dusty ass streets" Casey mumbled, she felt Hobie's presence behind her again. She knew he definitely wasn't going to leave her alone now, not with what almost happened in the bathroom. That reminded her of something.

"Why did you call Miles a cockblocker?" she asked the boy, a small grin appeared on his face and he took her hand.

"The real question is what was bruv doing in our apartment?" he taps his temple and winks at her, walking towards a convenience store. Our?

"I'm only living with you temporarily until I can get a hold of this whole... thing" she didn't know what to call it, something that ruined her life was too long of a title.

"Anyways, as soon as you teach me I'm going back to school and back to my family- SHIT" Casey gasped just as Hobie was opening the convenience store door, he closes it and looks down at her in concern.

"What princess? what happened?", she rolled her eyes at the nickname she loved and he smirked. He knew she liked it because every time he said it she gave him that same smile he saw when he gave her that note.

"mi mamá se va a enojar mucho" (my mom is going to be so pissed) she groaned and slammed her head softly into his chest 3 times. Hobie grabbed her head with a hand and pulled her close into a hug.

"I don't speak Spanish luv, ya mind translating?"

Casey sighed against him, why was he so comfortable bro how does he just keep getting better and better.

"my mom is going to be sooo mad, I haven't been to school and I haven't been on my phone to answer her messages" Casey groaned and gave into his comfortable body, wrapping her arms around him. His smile widened and he chuckled.

"don't worry we got your school covered, your mom doesn't know a thing about your absence, your messages however is whole different thing- Casey are you okay?" he felt her quiver against him, the cramps were back and hitting HARD.

"Do they sell painkillers here too..?" she groaned again and let go of him to hold her stomach, his eyes widened and he threw the door open, the bell ringing like crazy. "Casey I am so so sorry I forgot all about your uh.. situation" he chuckled nervously, praying she wouldn't kill him. She gripped onto his arm as her body naturally hunched forward.

"Hey what's the big deal eh? Oh! Hobart welcome!" the store owner recognized his favorite customer and welcomed him with a wide smile, he looked at Hobie coaxing a girl and bringing her inside.
