Miles lightly knocks on the door to his girlfriend and cousin's dorm, holding a bag of McDonald's. His girlfriend opens the door and kisses him briefly before letting him in, making Miles smile warmly.

"when is she going to wake up? she's been sleeping for over 18 hours" Gwen silently panics as she stares at her best friend. Casey was dead asleep, covered by a blanket up to her chin. Yesterday, Gwen changed her into some Mickey mouse pajamas and found Casey's belly button piercing as well as the snake tattoo she had along her spine. She decided to keep it a secret from Miles, the whole Morales family hated tattoos and piercings but she didn't know how Miles would feel.

"as soon as she smells this" Miles answers his girlfriends question and holds the McDonald's bag in the air, he snickers as Casey slowly stretches in bed and grunts. She turns on her side, opening her eyes and finally noticing the two teenagers staring at her from the doorway.

Her eyes lock onto the bag

"give it here" she croaks and sits up, sweating profusely.

"fuckk I have the worst headache" Casey complains as Miles strides over and sits next to her, careful to not overstimulate his cousin. "Here" he cooed and handed her the bag, waiting for another sign.

"How bad is your headache?" Gwen gracefully strides over to her own bed and front flips onto it, landing on her tippy toes before turning to face them and going down into a criss cross applesauce position.

Miles stared at his girlfriend in admiration

Casey stared at her friend in 😐

"I'm not even going to question the bullshittery I just saw theres food in my presence" Casey croaked again, clearing her throat. "My head is pouding bro, does anyone have the Tylenol or something?" Casey whined and laid her head on Miles shoulder, reaching into the bag and pulling out a breakfast burrito.

"Casey, if our theory is right now Tylenol cant help you" Gwen gently stated as she watched her friend take half of the burrito in her mouth and chomp down. "Why the fuck not?" the girl said with her mouth full, accidentally spitting some out. Gwen grimaces.

"There's something we need to talk to you ab-"

"YO WHAT THE FUCK" Miles screams and shoots up, pushing Casey off of his shoulder. She hits the wall and shoots Miles a nasty glare. "hijo de puta me duele!" (you motherfucker I'm hurting!)

"this ain't one of the signs, babe do something" Miles gives his girlfriend a panicked look before looking back at the blood that was on the bed. Gwen sighs and grabs Casey, tossing her over her shoulder before bending down to grab tampons out of her bag. She stands up and looks at her boyfriend. "it's just a period relax, when we get back you really need to explain this shit to her" Gwen gives Miles a stern look before taking a groaning Casey into the bathroom.

"Are we done? no more distractions?" Gwen looks at both Casey and Miles, the girl laying on her bed groaning in pain, spread out with her leg off the side. She was now wearing sweatpants and a really big shirt. The boy was on the complete other side of the room, staring at the blood spot on the bed in terror.
