| KENTRELL D. GAULDEN| 𝙾𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚋𝚎𝚛 𝟸𝟺𝚝𝚑, 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟶 " TOP "
SUNDAY, Baton Rouge was alive with the sounds of the city as the early morning sunlight pierced through the curtains. Kentrell watched over the young girl who laid across his bed, sound asleep. A faint smell of smoke lingered in the air as he sat on his couch, lazily exhaling a plume of smoke from a half-smoked blunt.
It had been a long night, one that would be etched in his memory for years to come. Serenity had somehow ended up at his place in a haze of confusion and intoxication.
He had taken her in, along with her cousin Deja, who happened to be the baby mama of his close friend Joe.
Kentrell had brought Serenity to lay in his bed, letting her sleep off the effects of the pill she had taken last night. She was completely out of it, not even feeling when Kentrell carried her fragile frame into the house and up in his bedroom.
It was a simple act of kindness, nothing more, nothing less. He had made himself comfortable on the couch as he often spent his nights there anyways.
