"Now listen here underling! Are you ready, for one out of the many gruelling moments of your life?" [N] screamed out a question directed to Edric, adrenaline of fierce excitement coursing through his blood.
Both boys were currently standing just outside the edge of forest where [N] resides in. Edric deciding to completely skip school today to spend some time with [N] - the latter opting(demanding) him to do so. Edric wouldn't dare to object the opportunity to have another fun and exhilarating moment with [N] over a repeated, monotonous day of school.
"As exciting and amazing this all is, I really don't wanna die! I heard all kinds of horrible, terrifying stories happening in this forest - people have forever gone missing here and even few corpses have been found!" Edric boldly expresses how apprehensive and terrified he was to set foot in the forest; as much as he was eager to go in the forest.
[N] rolls his eyes with a loud scoff, "you foolish witch! Don't be tricked into lies meant to scare you out doing something great! I've lived here all my life and I haven't gone missing nor have I died here!"
"Well, like, for you it's a different story, y'know." Edric remarks and [N] only chortled with pride.
"Of course! Why compare myself to such lowly creatures that don't stand a chance against me, heheheh! As expected for my underling to be nothing but a scared baby," [N] says with a coy smile, "you have nothing to be scared of, but me! I'm the ruler of this forest, and every weakly beast in here knows it!!"
"Uh-huh... great to know.." Edric responds, offended by the [h/c] haired boy's first statement about him being unjustly afraid.
"Malphas is waiting at the lair and you can't make him wait any longer for us with your mindless chatter!" Remarks [N] before running off into the forest. Edric was a bit unclear on how it was most of his fault for them taking a little longer than expected to make it to [N]'s home.
Edric let's out a tremulous breath and hesitates when cautiously entering the forest. Once inside the forest, Edric began calling out to his barbaric friend, not spotting them anywhere in the the dimly lit forest congested with vegetation.
When Edric took a couple of steps forward, the ground beneath him began to tremble and crumble. He promptly looks down and spots specks of acid seeping through the cracks of the collapsing floor. Edric is quick to panic as he almost falls in, but is shocked when a pair of arms grabs his torso, saving him from falling in the acidic water.
"[N]!? As much as I appreciate you saving, just don't go disappearing on me like you did earlier!" Edric shouts at the other teen; looking down at [N]'s upside down head wedge between the right side of his torso and right arm.
[N] noisily cackles in response. He was hanging upside down from a tree branch of some random tree; using his legs to hold himself up. "You need to be more careful, foolish underling. How ridiculous witches can be is hilarious!" [N] helps gets Edric to safety on stable ground while he comfortably stayed up in the branches of the trees.
