The Best Mom Ever!

Odd first night

"Now children why don't we head off to bed I gave you a reward of chicken so maybe we can all go to bed a little early so we can have more family bonding time tomorrow." Yellow guy said confidently. Before Lily or Todney could protest the father spoke up

"Kids let's listen to your mother she did something nice for us so this is the least we can do." The father said in a Stern tone Looking at Yellow Guy to make sure the kids follow through with the command.

"Your father's right you kids need to listen more after I went out of my way to get you something that made you happy but if disrespect is what I'm going to get from you, maybe there are other ways I can get you to listen." Yellow guy said in a strict tone but it weirdly made him feel better. He didn't know if this was his Twisted way of getting revenge on the Family or anger from how he was raised by his father and the other people around him. But was it really fair to do those things to two kids who did nothing wrong (In the moment)?

The twins immediately knew what he was implying and they quickly apologized before scampering off to bed as the bigger brother slowly slumped off. This kind of concerned Yellow Guy and caused him to wonder if physical harm was used to punish the kids, they didn't have any physical marks so maybe they were spanked. Knowing that made Yellow kind of sad and he felt kind of bad for them before he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Maybe we should head off to bed too." The father said In a more happy town with that same creepy smile. That's why Yellow went with his plan of being a bad mom but maybe he could get away with being a bad wife if he played his cards right.

Yellow was pudding the twins to bed trying to show that he was irritated trying to subtly give the idea that doing things for the twins was an annoying task that he did not take pleasure in. The twins apologized once again for disrespecting their mother and asked him to check the closet for any monsters.

"You two are too old to still be afraid of monsters so grow up and quit being babies about it! But I don't think the monster would be in your closet it would probably hide somewhere else like the vents. Anyways good night sleep tight and make sure the bed bugs don't bite." Yellow guy said before slamming the door and letting out a sigh loud enough for the twins to hear and walking off to bed.

The bedroom was surprisingly well kept and the father was sitting on the bed tapping it waiting for Yellow Guy to join. Yellow guy practically froze in place at the idea that the father might have creepy ideas before that thought was interrupted by the feeling of being picked up. Turns out the big brother was standing behind the door and picked up Yellow Guy. The big brother gave him a tight hug then he plopped Yellow on the bed.

"Ummm. huh, What?" Was all yellow could stutter.

"How sweet, he still gives his mother good night hugs and helped her settle into bed such a good boy." The father said in a delightful tone much to Yellow's dismay realizing this was a common interaction.

"Oh of course. Well, good night I guess." Yellow guy said awkwardly, waving his hand good night as the big brother walked out of the bedroom and presumably to his room.

"So maybe I could read to you this story I really like and I think you would enjoy it too." The father suggested with a shy tone.

" I'm too tired. Good night see you in the morning." Yellow guy responded callously to the father's emotions and turned over going to sleep.
