(You have no idea how long I've been waiting to name a chapter that.)
While Yellow was in the shower he was making sure he wasn't putting in too much shampoo. He wanted his hair to smell good but didn't want to make it nice and soft. Yellow would rather have the father complain about his hair than complement it.
He remembered seeing a hat on top of the dresser so maybe he could wear that, instead of having Lily and Todney do his hair again. Yellow went under the shower and let himself off. When he touched his hair he felt some bubbles left behind from the shampoo.
"Dang it," Yellow said, realizing that he didn't wash all the shampoo out of his hair.
There were only two options. Option one involves him getting back in the shower and getting his whole body wet again. And option two had to stick his head in the old sink that had crusted bits of toothpaste in it. Yellow went for the sink.
When Yellow was finished using the sink he put on a long light pink dress with ruffles at the ends of the sleeves. It felt similar to a nightgown but Yellow threw on an apron to make it less obvious.
Yellow walked out into the hallway and looked at the grandfather clock. It was 3:00 and the father would be home at 5:00. He had no idea so much time had passed. He looked over at the twins and they were a mess. There was dirt all over their face and clothes, muddy footprints had been tracked inside the house, and on the table there were flowers. Yellow look back at the twins to see them sitting there watching cartoons, completely oblivious to the mess around them.
"What happened?" Yellow got the twins attention. "I was gone for a while, getting myself clean. How did you two manage to get so dirty?"
"Hello Mother," Lily said. "Todney and I we're excited for your anniversary party so we went out to the garden and picked you some flowers."
"But the really pretty flowers were all the way in the back." Todney added on. "And our boots were so big that if we went in there we would have stepped on the other flowers so we had to go back inside to get her regular shoes. Mummy, don't you think these flowers are beautiful?"
"Well the flowers might be beautiful but the mess you made isn't." Yellow responded. "You guys got to help me clean the house, NOW!"
Lilly and Todney immediately sad up and turned off the TV. They ran to the closet and pulled out a mop, a broom, and a bucket. Yellow had a vacuum and they were ready to clean the house.

"We got to clean the house now!" Yellow yelled. "I want these floors so shiny you can mistake them for ice skating rinks."
"On it mother." Lily said holding the mop.

"Someone needs to dust these pictures immediately."
"Okay Mummy." Todney grabbed a feather duster.
"Oh my Malcolm, these pictures are so dusty that someone would get an asthma attack just looking at them. And the same thing goes for the hallway. Lily get on that!" Yellow shouted.

"Terrence, would you please be a dear and put the seashells on the door knobs." Yellow hands Terrence a box with decorative seashells in it. Yellow looks over to see something on the ground.
"Would you look at that a pair of shoes, and from your father," Yellow frowns. "Why am I not surprised?"
