The hug was still going and Yellow thought his eyes were going to pop out in a few seconds. Luckily, the hug ended, and Yellow could feel the blood flow back to his hands, but then he felt something sticky. He touched the top of his head and saw that some syrup from the brother's mouth fell on the Yellow guy's head and into his hair during the group hug. What's worse was that it was right by one of the red bows which was already starting to come loose from him wearing it to bed. Yellow guy didn't know how to handle hair, He could use a razor if he were careful, but most of the time how he woke up would be how he kept his hair for the day. Yellow guy came back to reality when he heard Lily say something.
"Oh, my mother your hair is a little messy. I know what activity we can do first, mother-daughter hair braiding!" Lily said with excitement grabbing Yellow's hand.
"Wait what about the other two?" Yellow said trying to keep up his Pace with Lily so he wasn't being dragged.
"Don't worry Todney is coming too and Big Brother is going to set up some board games," Lily responded trying to be reassuring to Yellow.
Yellow knew that it did not take long to set up a board game compared to braiding hair. He knew that the big brother was most likely going to be watching him from a distance to make sure he didn't make a run for it. They were inside the twin's room, Lily was digging through a small drawer in her vanity pulling out different things from Little hairspray bottles to accessories. Each thing she pulled out made Yellow more nervous. Everything was set in place and Lily gave Yellow a smile, not an evil smile but a genuine one.
"All right everything's set up, I'm so excited to be doing this with you again Mother it's been quite a while," Lily said with excitement.
"Lily it looks like mummy's hair is a little messy can I help get it out of her hair?" Todney said noticing Yellow wipe some of the syrup on the dress.
"Of course, you can talk to me I still have some hairspray I need to get in the bathroom," Lily replied As she walked out of the room completely ignoring the rest of the little spray bottles on the vanity that she took out of the drawer.
How much hairspray did Lily need? are they planning on waterboarding me with the Hairspray? Yellow thought to himself now panicking a little. Yellow hated Hairspray was always too smelly, too close to his face, and it leaves behind a weird texture in his hair that doesn't go away for a while.
Yellow felt a small hand grab one of his pigtails. He wanted to swat at the hand but he realized it was just Todney trying to remove one of the bows from his hair.
"Lily will be back any minute so I'm making sure Mummy's hair is nice and ready!" Todney said. Yellow was confused why he was talking like that but he would rather think of anything else than the reality of those words.
"I'm back Todney, thank you for helping Mother get ready. We can work on her hair together!"
"Hooray!" They both said in unison.
Yellow didn't want to look he could feel them removing the bows and brushing his hair, the sound of Hairspray with the occasional sound of shuffling and giggling. Sometimes one of the twins would leave the room to do who knows what while the other one sat there either hugging or fiddling with Yellow's hair.
Yellow was nervous to speak up but then he pondered thinking that maybe it would be better if he got knocked out again so the twins could do his hair but he wasn't that desperate. Soon the twins announced that they were done and Yellow opened his eyes. His hair was similar to the two pigtails but they were a little fancier. Instead of red bows there was a rubber band with a little charm on it and a scrunchie. Yellow didn't mind the little accessories, he even thought they were a little cute. But they would be cuter if they weren't done by the people who were holding him captive.
"You should go show grandma your look I bet she'd love it," Lily said proud of her work.
"Okay but are you sure you didn't go a little too crazy with the Hairspray?" Yellow said touching his hair which now felt like plastic.
"Of course we put hairspray on mummy we're going to play so many games we don't want your hair to get messed up and bother you while you're making dinner," Todney answered
"Come on now stop lollygagging and go show grandma," Lily said a little more intensely practically pushing yellow out of the door.
Yellow walked down the hallway seeing exactly what he expected. The brother standing there watching him intently making sure he didn't leave. When he made it into the living room he saw the Grandma sitting in her wheelchair watching the TV that wasn't even turned on.
Whatever hallucinogenic grandma was on he hoped she would share with him so he didn't have to look at the twin's face, they look like they're wearing someone else's skin. But before he could think about popping the question the grandma looked at him. This through yellow off and he did not know how to respond to this so he just pointed to his hair and gave an awkward smile.
The grandma gave him an weird smile and reached out one of her hands. This made Yellow flinch a little because he was still on edge but he was surprised. He felt two fingers pinch his cheek as the grandma was admiring his look. The pinch wasn't hard just odd. Then they both heard the sound of dice rolling around on a table and Grandma got straight to ringing her bells shrieking that it was time to play.
Yellow covered his ears but they were still a little sore from the new bone earrings that were pierced into his ears the previous night. The family did their chant as usual but this time Yellow didn't chant with them. Yellow wasn't sure where his breaking point was and he didn't want to stick around long enough for him to lose it and let Stockholm take over. If he wanted answers then he would have to make sure that the twins were out of his hair so he could have a talk with a certain tree.
(So yes I did pass my driver's test and I'm very proud of myself. Sorry that the past chapters might have been a little filler but I've been busy with other writing projects and other Hands-On projects. I've got my own family bonding to do Which for some reason includes making a theremin but anyways I promise that the next chapter will come out this Friday.)
