The next morning started slightly earlier than expected. Yellow managed to get some sleep but woke up at around 5:30 when he felt a warm feeling around him that started to grow a little too hot to handle. He woke up to see the father's arms wrapped around his torso. How long has the sky been snuggled up to me? Yellow Guy thought to himself as he pushed him away and got out of bed now even more determined to start the day and see if he could slip out. He tiptoed to the door and opened it up and immediately had to stop himself from screaming.

The big brother was standing in front of the door and in his pajamas. Either the brother had a nightmare and came to their room to just stand in front of the door or he went back into his room changed into his pajamas, and stood in front of the door all night. Yellow had no idea what the brother's deal was, the giant freak was so expressionless and only spoke in weird grunts.

"Good morning. I just got up to start making breakfast bright and early." Yellow said awkwardly.

"Grunt" Hello grunt was all the brother could say.

"So pancakes? That sounds like pancakes to me, let's have pancakes!" Yellow guy swiftly said.

The big brother was surprisingly helpful. Yellow was short And there didn't appear to be a stepladder anywhere so Yellow Guy pointed at what he needed hoping that the bigger brother Would get it for him. But the big brother just picked up Yellow and held him in front of the item so he could grab it. How clingy or close of a relationship did the brother have with his mother? Yellow Guy thought to himself, but that did lead to an interesting thought.

When he looks back at the family portrait even before his face was put on top of it the mother's height was around the same height as him. So how did a short woman and an even tinier man come together to make such a giant child?

Also, when did the mother disappear and how long was it before Lily and Todney enacted their plan? If she had died then her face wouldn't have been scratched out from the family portrait because then that would be ruining a precious family Heirloom.

If they really were grieving over the death of a loved one then why haven't they kidnapped other people to be grandparents? A grandma was part of the family portrait but no grandpa. Was the mother the only breaking point for them? If someone else in their family died would Yellow Guy still be here but playing a different role in the family? Yellow guy cringed at that last thought, he was already struggling to process the family making him the mother but he couldn't handle the thought of playing any other role.

Everything was going all right until Yellow Guy turned on the oven and flinched at the sound of the sizzling pan heating up the batter. Yellow never liked using the oven, whenever he and Red would make it he would always do the ingredients and Red would do all of the stuff with the oven. That memory made Yellow back up and look to the big brother for assistance.

"You finish the pancakes and I'll set the table and wake up the rest of the family," Yellow said pointing at the stove. Luckily the big brother listened.

Even though it was still pretty early yellow knew that waking your children up at an early hour and then calling them slobs without immediately getting up is something that a bad parent would do. Normally that job was reserved for the father but he couldn't see why he couldn't have a go at it. Yellow tried to think of ways parents would rudely wake up their kids and then he thought of Duck. Duck was always watching reality TV when Groton and Harvest was on and recently one of the shows that kept coming up where shows about big families that were Christian, dysfunctional, but mostly both. Yellow found the perfect way to be a passive-aggressive mom in immediately went toward the laundry room.
