Patty came back to the woods with a sad face.

"Hey, fellas. I just took Brer Fox to Mother Possum the nurse... and we lost him" she said.

"He's dead?" Brer Bear gasped.

"No; he just ran off into the woods. But I'm sure by now he'll be back to normal" said Patty.

Brer Fox skipped over saying "Look at me, y'all! I's ridin' a dragon!"

"Or not" said Patty.

Brer Fox pretended to get off the "dragon" and said, "Who's my firebreathin' buddy? You is! Yes you is! Yes you is!"

"Mr Fox! There is no dragon" said Jill strictly.

Brer Fox looked at his buddies. "Agh! Fo'est nymph! So tired..."

Then he collapsed and fell asleep.

"That was strange" said Jill.

"Well, obviously, Brer Fox isn't gonna be much help. But don't worry, Jilly. I can set a snare trap that can catch you some food" said Patty.

"You knows how ter do dat?" said Brer Rabbit.

"It was the only way I could keep Paul O'Keeffe out of my slumber parties" said Patty.

"Please do it. At this point, I'd eat anything" said Jill.

Just as she finished the sentence, Brer Fox woke up! "Oh no you don't! You ain't gon' eat my dragon! Fly, Mal, fly!"

Then he "flew away on the dragon".

"Should we go after him?" said Brer Bear.

"Eh. He'll be fine. He has a dragon" said Brer Rabbit.

Patty set up the snare trap in less than five minutes.

"Nice goin', Sis Patty. Now let's hide an' wait fo de food ter come t'us" said Brer Rabbit.

"I hope it's hunny" said Brer Bear.

The guys hid in the bushes and heard something coming.

"Shh. Somet'n's comin'" said Brer Rabbit.

"Oh thank goodness" said Jill.

The trap snapped and they heard a loud moan.

"Sounds like we caught a moose" said Patty.

"Yes!" Brer Rabbit squealed.

"Dat's good. Although I'd radder have choc'late mousse" said Brer Bear.

They came out of hiding and saw that Brer Fox was hanging upside down with his feet tied in the rope of the trap.

"Actually, we caught a fox. Is there a permit for that?" said Patty.

"Oh my goodness! Are you alright, Mr Fox?" said Jill.

Brer Fox just kept talking to his hallucinations.

"I guess not" said Jill.

"Well, I tink I knows what we needs ter do wit Brer Fox. Season 'im up an toss 'im onto de campfire" said Brer Rabbit.

"You can't be serious, Mr Rabbit" said Jill.

"Why? I's hungry. An' he's tried ter roast me many many many times" said Brer Rabbit.
