The whole gang put on pairs of glasses as Chad came into the Briar Patch.
"Welcome to dinner with your wife and family" said Jeremy.
"Welcome home, Chad! I hope you wiped your shoes on the mat" said Patty with a British accent.
All Chad was doing was staring at his friends in glasses. "What the spec is going on here?"
"We know how much you miss dinner with your family so we decided to recreate it for you" said Burt.
"Have a seat, everyone! Dinner's almost ready" said Patty.
"What's for dinner, luv?" said Jill.
"Forest stew, luv" said Patty.
"When's it going to be ready? I would like to eat before I'm in the grave" said Brer Bear with a British accent.
"One more complaint and I'll put you there" said Brer Rabbit with the same accent.
"Good. Then I'd finally get some peace and quiet" said Brer Bear.
Jeremy faced Patty who was stirring wet leaves in a pot. "Dear... this was supposed to be a very special dinner for Chad. Is this really the best you could do?"
Patty laughed awkwardly. "Yes, honey. It's not like there are wild burgers growing out there."
"In my day, we ate what was put in our plate or we didn't eat!" said Brer Rabbit.
"How could you eat at all with your gums flapping worse than the skin under your arms?" said Brer Bear.
"Jeremy's right though, Patty. This looks like a tree threw up" said Burt.
"Easy to complain about a meal when you didn't cook it!" Patty sassed in her normal voice.
"Patty, watch your tone, luv" said Chad.
"Sorry, Chad" said Patty.
"I think we should all be sorry. This isn't going as well as we'd hoped" said Burt.
"What do you mean? This is just like home. The food is terrible like my mother's cooking, everyone's arguing and Jill's here. That's all I need" said Chad with a smile.
"Oh, Chad... I could stay in this mountain if you wanted me to. I'm really starting to like it here; these animals are joys to be around" said Jill.
"No, my love, it's okay. A mountain full of plunges into a river is no place for a model" said Chad.
"Alright. But I will visit you as often as I can" said Jill.
To everyone's surprise, Chad was actually eating Patty's 'forest stew'.
"You musta bin starvin' if you's eatin' dat, Brer Chad" said Brer Rabbit in his natural southern accent.
Chad patted his hungry stomach. "This really is smashing. All that's missing is my family's natural quirkiness that goes with the arguing."
Brer Fox ran into the Briar Patch soaking wet from the river. "Mal de dragon ate de gnome! I'll congratulate 'im right after nap time".
Then he fell asleep again.
"And there it is" said Chad.
"So our plan actually worked?" said Jeremy.
"It really did. There's only one thing you got wrong. I'm the only one in my family with glasses. Everyone else can see perfectly" said Chad.
"Oh, tank goodness. Deez tings is pinchin' my ears" said Brer Rabbit taking off his glasses.
"I can't believe you did all of this for me" said Chad.
"Of course we did. You're our friend, Chad" said Jeremy.
"We wan'd Splash Mountain ter feel a little mo like home" said Brer Rabbit.
"Now it does. Thank you so much" said Chad hugging his friends.
"Duz diss mean you's stayin'?" said Brer Bear.
"Definitely. Even after Brer Vulture irritated me today" said Chad.
