"Marinette! Adrien? Are you stopping by for lunch?" Tom Dupain, tall and mighty, stood behind the counter and smiled his loving smile. Adrien loves Mr. Dupain's smile because it reminds him of warmth that you find at a bakery as amazing as this one.

"Papa! Adrien's stomach growled!" Marinette sounded dreadful.

"Did you eat breakfast?" Tom asked him and frowned when he shook his head. "What is your favorite?"

"O-oh," he scratched the back of his neck. "I don't know... I've never really eaten too many sweets before-"

"That is now todays quest! Figuring out your favorite sweet!" He looked at the display, "Which one first... Oh! Macaroons! Then croissants! Every single cookie! Maybe some cake..."

Tom began shoving different plates on a table and sat both of them down. Marinette gave him an apologetic glance. Her father could be very energetic sometimes, but she loved him nonetheless. She also knows that he father had grown a liking to that boy and same went to Chat Noir. He could sell them the entire bakery before ever refusing to give them a sweet that they asked for. All they really needed to do was ask.

Sabine came in and pulled Tom back to the bakery, giving Adrien a motherly smile. Once they were alone, Adrien was on the brink of tears. He was so used to being ignored by his father that he truly believed that no one would try to help him with the heartbreak. And here are these people. These genuinely nice people unknowingly helping him by just small gestures. Small, but big in his heart. He didn't know what had happened, but he was so happy and overwhelmed that he accidentally let one tear slip. This didn't go unnoticed by Marinette.

"Wh-why are y-you crying!? I'm sorry, did Papa offend y-" Adrien cut her off with a hug.

"I'm sorry. I just love your home so much, I got overwhelmed. Your parents are amazing and they raised an amazing daughter." He genuinely smiled his rich smile. His face was red and now puffy from holding back tears. Butterflies fluttered in Marinette's stomach, however, Adrien's stomach seemed to have nothing. It growled very loud this time which earned another giggle from her.

Her giggle is so cute. "I might want to start eating before the whole bakery can hear."

"Good idea."

They talked and actually had conversations that they couldn't have before because of Marinette's one-side affection towards him. Something just held those feelings back and let her speak in piece. There are a few moments when she scrambles her words, but Adrien was patient and listened. He was surprised on how clearly she was speaking to him, but only saw this as improvement in their relationship.

Tom suddenly appeared in with Sabine, arms connected and smiling. They really were made for each other."Have you picked your favorite, son?"

"Chocolate croissants." He said while smiling. Sure enough, the entire plate of the chocolate croissants was finished. Chocolate was stained to his lips.

"Those are my favorite to make-""Sweetie, I said remind them what the time is."

"O-oh, yes. You must leave before you are late for class." He then walked out of the room and waved. Adrien waved back, already missing him. He wishes that he could see Tom more, but because Chat Noir only visits his daughter at nighttime, there wasn't much time.

They walked to school and talked more.

Lila Rossi searched through the classroom and couldn't find Adrien anywhere. She wouldn't normally care if it weren't for the fact that Marinette seemed to also disappear with him-most likely together. Stupid Marinette, she thought, why does she get Adrien Agreste! The model! There is nothing to like about her. She's clumsy. I'm not. She's an idiot. I'm not. She's ugly and broke. I'm not!

Lila watched as the two both walked in through the school door, laughing over some stupid joke that she could care less about. I thought that Marinette couldn't even muster a sentence around him and look at her now. Since when did Marinette grow a spine? Did she ask already? Ugh!

The bell rang and the two said their goodbyes because for the rest of the day, they didn't have any classes together. Marinette did, however, have the rest of her classes with Alya with the same for Adrien and Nino.

Marinette walked up to her seat and was immediately flunked with questions about her "date" with Adrien. She explained that she really just wanted to get some food in him because of his strict diet, but no one believed her. They also didn't believe that she actually had conversations with him.

"Gurrll! You are head over heeelllls for this guy and you expect us to believe that you acted like a normal human being around him. Be real! You're making it sound like you fell out of love with him." Alya stated and the girls surrounding us nodded.

"I am stating the truth! Ask Adrien if you don't believe me!"

"Wait-dude... you're saying that Marinette actually talked to you?" Nino's eyes probably couldn't handle being any more wide than they were already. Marinette has always been flustered around her crushes and the only way she can talk to them now is because she fell out of love. He texted his girlfriend like it was an emergency.

Nino: Babe! Adrien just said that Marinette talked with him the whole lunch break! I told you about her past crushes, so this means that she doesn't love him anymore!.

Alya: I doubt it's like that. Marinette did confirm that she spoke with Adrien. Maybe this is just her building confidence! There is no way that Marinette could stop loving Adrien. No way on earth.

Nino: Ok. I believe you. Team Adrienette!

Alya: Team Adrienette!

While Alya madly types at her phone, Marinette looked at her phone screen wallpaper and smiled. Alya's words then hit her. "You're making it sound like you fell out of love with him." Welp, Marinette thought to herself, I think that Plagg's plan is beginning to work.
