The class became excited about the project that was coming up that can be about anything. Anything at all. Adrien was also excited because Nino had been complaining about not being able to spend time with me because of my father and now we have an excuse. Adrien was about to turn to his best friend till he saw Alya dragging him to the front. Little did Adrien know that Alya had a devious plan to get Marinette and Adrien together.

"Sorry, Adrien, Nino and I already said that we would partner up." Alya stated apologetically. Nino shook his head at another one of her attempts. They always went terribly wrong. As of now, two people heard this commotion and tried to ruin Alya's plan. Those two were Lila and Chloe.

"Adrikins! Work with me because Nobody else in as smart as me and you, we would work amazing together!"

"Adrien should probably work with me because we have a photoshoot in 3 days, so we should be able to work right after that."

Both batted their eyelashes and shoved the other out of the way. "Uhhhh" Adrien didn't want to work with any of them, but he was too kind to tell them that. I need a way to say no, right now! He looked around and his eyes landed on the bluenette, Purrfect!

"Actually, me and Marinette are going to work together! Right Marinette?" She looked up, confused until she noticed his desperate face. Please say yes. Please say yes.

"Uhhhh, Yeah! We're partners." She got up and walked in the line with Adrien to sign their names.

"Ridiculous!"

Marinette was trying her best not to freak out. Not only did this mean that they were to communicate, but they needed to sit next to each other in class for two weeks. She didn't stumble on her words, but the knowledge that she used to so often made it difficult for eye contact. They started talking about the process when Marinette realized that it was pretty easy to talk to Adrien now that Kitty's thoughtless act filled her priorities. It was probably a little goodbye kiss right? I mean he only kissed me on the forehead which isn't awkward at all. "Hmm, Marinette?" Adrien looked over

"Hmm?" She looked at him and realized that he got slightly closer to wave a hand in her face. "Earth to Mari."

"Oh, umm. W-what did you ask?" She tried to make eye contact one more time and managed to hold it long enough for him to smile.

"What are we even going to do for our project?" He asked for the hundredth time.

Her earlier thoughts came back in and she couldn't stop herself. "Heroes?"

His eyes visibly perked up and he laughed. "You mean your boyfriend or all superheroes-" Marinette's hands clenched over his mouth and he chuckled when she didn't put it down.

"D-don't t-talk about that here!" She blushed even harder and removed her hand to cover her face. "Alya would flip."

"I'd flip about what?" Alya's voice made Marinette squeak and Adrien laugh again. "Are you keeping a secret?"

"N-NOPE! N-NOT AT ALL! NEVER!"

"Mhm.." She went back to talking with Nino. Marinette heaved a sigh and looked at Adrien again with visible exhaustion on her face. "Maybe we should just do the project on villains instead so we don't randomly give away a weaknesses of the heroes."

He smiled and whispered, "Are you trying to help your boyfriend defeat Shadowmoth/Hawkmoth/Monarch (I don't know what time period this story is going to be in, but I'm too lazy to try and remember why he changed his name two times to something more and more stupid)?" Marinette didn't really know how to react to that. I'm a superhero too! And why is Adrien all of the sudden teasing me?

"How dare you tease me!" Marinette said in a sarcastic-tone, "You've spent waayyy too much time with Chat."

"Are you just mad because I steal time with him from you?" He joked again. Now that I know that she used to like Adrien, might as well tease her a little. Besides, now I want Marinette to like Chat Noir and not Adrien. My father would never allow me to have a girlfriend that didn't have an amazing social status.

"N-No! Ugh! This is what I mean, you picked up on his cute, silly manner." She cringed when she realized that what she said could have been used against her. She knew he knew it too.

"I wonder what your boyfriend would think of you calling me cute."

"Ugh! I can't with you right now!" She crossed her arms and pouted which made Adrien laugh. She acts so cute whenever she pouts. It makes me realize how blind I was when I had a crush on Ladybug.

"I will admit that I spent a LOT of time with him," Because the one in question is literally me, "But he tells me that he enjoys his time with you." They both smile.

They realize at some point that they were no longer on topic and set up a time to meet up in the park so they could continue their project. Alya secretly records and stares in confusion. I can barely hear what they are saying but Marinette looked like she was going through mood swings there and Adrien looks... mischievous? Two things I could never have imagined to happen between a conversion with them. Adrien's too preserved and Marinette... is Marinette. What happened!?
