"Adrien Agreste?" Chat Noir has repeated the same thing for the fifth time and Marinette finally looked up to a kitten that looked like he was punched in the face. He was blushing like-crazy with confusion clear in his gaze. Marinette had to rolled her eyes.

"If you've seen the way I have acted around him, you wouldn't be so surprised." She flung her arms around and made crazy faces to show this as proof. Chat looked down and focused on the floor. Oh, he was stupid. So, so, so, so, so stupid. Marinette never acted the same with him towards anyone else. He was too in love with Ladybug to realize the truth. She loved Adrien. She loved him. Plagg must be doing this to make him realize this(Not even close) and change my actions.

Ladybug never loved me, but Marinette did. The blush spreads further along his face. He finally looked back up and Marinette looked away to avoid eye contact. The only thing is that she loves Adrien and not Chat. Chat is the real me- the real personality. I know it's a lot to ask, but I want her to love both sides of me. What if I try to make her love...

"Uh.. Chat. Were you even listening? Are you okay."

"What? Oh! Uh... Yeah, I'm fine. Just surprised that you had a celebrity crush on my "friend"." I still have to pull it off that I am Adrien's friend though, it feels weird.

"It's not a celebrity crush if I know him in person," He raised one eyebrow. She smiles and starts eating some of the hand-picked foods that filled the basket. Chat made sure that the food inside were her favorites, "Wow! That brought back deja vu, didn't it?"

"You mean when I went to visit you on your balcony for the first time and dropped the, 'I love Ladybug', bomb on you before I even told Ladybug herself then took you to the candle-light balcony no.1," Chat places his hand over his heart like it brought back happy memories instead of the depressing one where Ladybug declined his feelings and brought up her secret crush.

"Exactly... I remember that night like it was yesterday. You really lifted my mood, Chat."

"Wait! So does that mean that Adrien is Buttercup?" Her confession rang through his head. He busted out laughing. Marinette groaned in embarrassment, thinking that he was laughing at her, but he was laughing at his stupidity. A light blush formed on her cheeks and she looked away. Which he noticed. "I wonder how Adrien would feel if he knew that he was this blind," Chat said when he calmed down.

"N-no! Please don't tell Adrien!" Marinette freaked and hid behind her hands. Her red face was becoming more obvious to the boy. "That'll be too embarrassing!" By now she looked like Ladybug's costume. Is she really that embarrassed to confess her feelings towards me? Chat tried to remember any time that Marinette hinted towards her liking him and found nothing. Now that I think about it, we've really never had too many coherent conversations. Most of them were interrupted by somethings or she ran away. Marinette also helped me get with Kagami and gave me advise. Why would she help me if she liked me as much as she said she did? Is it because she was helping me like a friend would?

"I don't think that Adrien would have found it embarrassing if he'd known that you tried so hard for him." Chat wrapped his arms around her and grabbed a cookie. They were now sitting in a position that includes her sitting on his lap and draped in a fluffy blanket. Her head was leaning in to his chest. She smiled and they continued talking about their chaotic moments with their crushes...

"She threw me in a trashcan!"

Marinette flinched, "That doesn't mean that she hates you."

"She seemed pretty mad."

"You guys are partn-" Marinette stopped talking when Chat leaned in closer to her. Oh my god! Is he going to kiss me!? On our first date! Should I let him? Oh sugar cookies, now he's really close! He's about to-

Chat grabbed another cookie and leaned away. "Hmm? Why'd you stop talking?"

"Uhh" Oh my god! Seriously! He only needed a cookie. Why do I always jumped to stupid conclusions. "PARTNERS! I-I mean... partners, she doesn't hate you at all." Why do I feel like he should have kissed me? Why am I disappointed that he didn't?

"You okay, Princess?" Chat thought back and realized that he did get pretty close to her face. Maybe that's why- but why does she look disappointed? Does she want me to kiss her? Chat looked at her harder and whatever emotions that she saw disappeared as she looked at her phone. "I got to get home. It's late and I have school."

Chat looked at his Chat phone and also noticed the time. "Time flies when your having fun, huh?" He picked her up and jumped across the city of love and landed on her balcony.

"I had a good time kitty, maybe next time we can have a movie night." She smiles and he smiled back.

"Me too-" Beep Beep,"Welp, I guess I better go." Marinette nodded and she turned of her string of lights on her balcony. Chat laughed as she tried to find her trapdoor in the dark. Then the thought before they had to leave came back and he knew what he had to do. He leaned down and gave her a peck on the forehead which earned a gasp from her, "Bye, Princess!" He turned around and jumped out of sight, leaving a shocked bug behind.

"Marinette? Are you okay?" Tikki turned on the lights and revealed Marinette's flushed face and embarrassed smile. "Never better." Then she fainted.
