The Storm Inside

Knox Crescent's POV

The moment I walked into Austin's office I was shocked to find out my counterpart was sitting on my friends lap, curled up looking distress with worry as she slept.

I had this urge to take her from him and hold her against my chest to help her feel calm and not so distressed from whatever caused her to lose control as it seems this was Austin's long lost little sister.

I knelt before him moving her hair away from her face when I felt the same burning sensation of my markings growing and moving to my other arm showing everyone that I found my partner in life.

She was breath taking with her heart shaped face, round chin with a small button nose and plump pink lips with round closed eye lids framed by the long black eye lashes resting on her snow-white skin with high cheek bones the rest of Silvermyst family all share.

I had to have her in my arms, and I know Austin will not have a choice and hand her over to me as I will be the one to cherish, love and protect her from everything that could ever harm her in anyway.

I gently took her from Austin as I sat on the floor laying her light blonde head against my chest over my heart when I felt her situate herself on my lap sideways, clutching my shirt in her tiny hands. I wrapped my arms gently around her slim waist, tightening my hold on her as I held her against me and when I heard something opening, I sent Austin a glare not wanting any harm to come to my little snow fairy resting in my arms.

"What are those and what in the fuck do you think you are going to do with them?" I hissed out, pulling my little fairy closer to my larger frame, readying myself encase I must shadow step away from the two brothers with my love in my arms.

I felt my little snow fairy wake up and watching her bright lilac eyes blink open and when she looked up at me, I could not stop my heart from racing seeing her soft elegant features come to life and I could see a small red blush reach from her cheeks to her small, pointed ears that made her beauty stand out more to me.

I gently pushed her hair from her face as I watched her markings slither and grow across the top of her chest under her shirt to reach her left arm entwining our markings as one new marking showing everyone who her partner was and what family he belong too with our families main symbols showing on the back of her left hand entwined together making a new one identical like my own.

"Hello, sweetheart. I am our older brother Austin; you already know Aaron and the one holding you is Knox my best friend." Austin gently said with a smile on his face, as mine was hidden behind my half mask.

I watched her eyes widened slightly when she saw what was in Austin's hands and I almost fell backwards with how quick she moved squishing her sweet face against my own trying to move away from her older brother.

I held onto her waist, making sure she was all right before I even allowed the dick head to come near my little fairy with that syringe.

"Um, hello. What are you plan to do with that syringe?" her voice was like wind chimes airy and soft as she scooted more into my large frame.

I quickly ran my hand through her long soft light blonde hair as she eyes Austin as he explained to her what it was about and why she would need it to help the inner storm from loosing more control than it needs to be.

"What exactly, will this do to her?" I had to ask as I was worried for my little snow fairy, as I do not want her to have to take that shit when I saw what it did to Austin when were teenagers.

"Knox, there is nothing else we can do, I mean unless you want to stay with her even at school and not allow her to lose control again, then she needs to take this while we wait for father to return from his trip." Austin sassily stated smugly smirking at me.

I raised one eyebrow at him as I stood up with my little fairy in my arms with my left hand under her knees and right under shoulders, as her slender arms wrapped around my neck as I held her closer to me.

"Well, if you need us than you know where we will be." I stated smirking down at the gaping idiots as I quickly shielded her pretty eyes shadow stepping into the apartment of the triplets.

I stepped out carefully placing her down onto her tiny feet as I now realized how damn tiny, she was compared to my large, tall frame.

"Um, why did we run away from my brother's?" she softly asked me, looking up with amusement shining in her pretty eyes that I could get lost in.

"Hm, I was not going to allow for him to give you that shit, when I know what it can do." I softly told her as I pulled her more into me by her slim waist as she placed her hands against my muscular chest.

I looked down at her, raising one of hands to hold her face and tilt her head up as I was about press my lips to hers, as I heard the loud voices of the three idiots that were coming back.

Soft giggles filled my ears as I stared my sweet angel down with amusement shining in my eyes, as we both know what is going to happen once, they enter the apartment.

I quickly kissed her forehead telling her I will see her later as I need to finish my report with Austin and get my apartment set up for us as I am not letting her stay here for to long with the idiots even though I know they are her brothers and cousin when she is my other half.

I quickly shadow stepped back reappearing in Austin's office with an amused smirk as he sits there with a pout and a glare as Leo was chuckling and shaking his head back and forth at his husband who was now pointing at me with such distain that I could not hold back my own chuckle at the idiot that was my best friend.

"Where is my baby sister, Crescent!" Austin whined out huffing from how annoyed he was with me for disappearing with my little love.

"She is safe with the other three idiots." I said, as we started to discuss my job, I finished with some councilmen's daughter who would not leave me alone.

"Wait, she actually tried to get you to sleep with her?" I grimly nodded at Leo who was surprised that someone would allow their daughter to try and sleep with anyone who was not her counterpart.

We all heard a knock on the door, and before Austin could answer the door opened with one of my co workers that I work with walk in with an envelope in hand.

"I don't know who this belongs too sir, it came in a few minutes ago and it's addressed to Boss." I watched Leo come over and take it from Jessica's hands as I was sitting in my chair looking bored as hell showing off my new markings that have now settled down after meeting my little snow fairy.

"Whoa, did the big brute finally found his partner?" Jessica joked out now standing near me looking down at my right arm and it's new markings with vines, snow drop buds entwined with the markings of my people with the crescent moon along with the astrology of stars leading down to my wrist showing the snowflake and the crescent moon as one entity on the back of my right hand as my left has a full moon with a sliver of crescent showing.

"So, who is the lucky gal?"

"Jessica, don't ask who as I am going to have a word with my annoying best friend." Austin hissed out waving Jessica off who was more confused on the matter.

I looked at Austin with an amused expression as I know he is going to go all big brother on my ass over the fact his little sister is my life partner, and I will do everything to keep her safe and cherished for as I long as we both live.

"Austin, leave Knox be. I know you have just found your sister and you and I both know, papa will have everyone move back into the main house to have everyone nearby, especially now Wynter is home." Leo softly explained, while Austin and I both groaned knowing that will happen once Darrel comes home.

"Fine, Knox, you and Wynter will have the East wing of the mansion as I know father has been trying to set that area up for when Wynter came home." I nodded as I left the office to head on home to pack and settle in our new home at the Silvermyst Mansion up on the hill of Vale Blossom estates.
