I laid under the blankets with my love as I held her to me keeping my warmth for her while she sleeps for her transformation to take full affect.

I remember when I had to go through this exact same thing when I was sixteen years old trying to keep my anger at bay since it was hard to handle at times and how I did not want to be near anyone or have friends, yet only stupid idiot decided that we were going to be friends and no one, not even myself could stop Austin Silvermyst from doing what he wanted.

Those were good ole days, when everything was simple and yet hard at the same time as I had to worry about working and trying to appease both my parents when all I wanted was to have a decent job and find my life partner so I can take care of them and give them all the love and care they deserve.

The moment I walked into Aussie's office was the best moment of my life to meet my life partner and give her all my love that I know she returns just the same.

Wynter has become my main focal point in life, and I am beyond happy that pops allowed me to return to my post of being a high-tech tracker than being out in the field where anything could happen to me when my sweet snow fairy would have worried every time I would be out in the field and that is not what I wanted.

I turned my head when I heard the door open slightly, and I saw my mother poke her head in with a small smile upon her lips as she saw me cuddled up with my sweet snow fairy.

I let out a tired sigh, not wanting to deal with my mother telling me otherwise when they cannot take her away from when we have already strengthened our connection even more so after we had made love early today.

"Son, I just wanted to come and check on you two as Darrel told us you would be staying up here with Wynter." My mother softly said as she sat on the corner of the bed, running her hand through my hair.

"Mother, I am not leaving my sweet snow fairy for father or for anyone else, she is it for me and we have already finished our connection." I softly and sternly told my mother as I pressed my lips to my love's warm forehead as she sleeps curled up against my chest clutching my shirt in her hands.

"We know, son. Your father is very proud of you, and we both can not wait to meet our daughter in law soon." I let go all my worry as I now know my parents are on the band wagon with me and Wynter.

"Mom, when she wakes up and after the week of her transformation, we will come over for dinner and you guys can meet her." I said, turning around to face my mother, even though I have yet to shave in last few days since work and meeting my snow fairy.

"Oh, my dear boy, you need to shave son, seems to me you are getting a five o' clock shadow." My mother joked out as she kissed both of our heads leaving us to rest for the rest of night. "I will come back with some food for you son, you need your strength to help her during this time." I nodded as she left the room.

I woke up in the middle of the night to hear something move about outside our balcony, and my instincts to protect my love came out stronger than necessary.

I slowly got out of bed, being careful with not waking up my partner as I looked out the window, pulling up my mask that was attached to my shirt to keep my face hidden as I scanned around the outside when I spotted Jane was trying to climb up the side of the house to reach our balcony.

I rolled my eyes annoyed with this young eighteen-year-old who is also obsessed with me and right now she has crossed a fucking line, family or not I will protect my life partner even hurting her cousin in the process.

I turned away from the window to grab my cell phone to make a phone call to my boss, who I know is awake still as we are used to being up at all hours working.
