Zahira

As the door creepily opened to my ship, I had my dagger at hand. For all I knew I could be encountering an alien, or worse... A human.

It was hard to believe as terror struck my heart that just a few hours ago I was living my normal, boring life.

~Flashback~

I stood in the locating building of the space force I'd become Space Commander of just a short time ago, the pressure of being in charge of our league building in the confines of my mind. Nobody knew my plan behind this. Despite being princess, and the fact that royals should never have such a dangerous job, I wanted to make a name for myself. I became known as "misanthrope"; Thrope for short. It was the perfect way to throw everyone off my tracks.
A year prior -when I'd started this journey- I had slipped into my mothers chambers to satisfy my curiosity. She had always talked of how she despised humans, and how disgusting they were. She never said why, and I was determined to figure it out.

After searching relentlessly I came upon on a letter box, filled with dozens of letters all written in the same, mysterious language I couldn't understand. The only thing I made out at the time was my mothers name, and a word we use here for forbidden love drawn on the page. The more I looked, the more my curiosity grew. Eventually I came upon a letter that made mention of a child. I didn't understand what most of it said, but I knew in my heart it had something to do with humans. To my surprise, I had found one of our locator chips, labeled with the name "£-4R-Th".
I stood slowly to study the chip, eyebrows furrowed, when my mother had opened the door and entered.

I hid the chip behind my back and morphed into her servant, trying my best to imitate his cool exterior to the best of my abilities. As a royal full blooded Androlipian, I was given the power to morph into any being I choose, among other things.
My mother barely glanced in my direction, seemingly too exhausted from whatever she'd gone through today to wonder why her loyal servant wouldn't have been helping keep track of things around the palace. I'd given her a subtle nod and scurried out, the chip warming in my hand as if to remind me of what I'd just done.

I shook myself from my thoughts, my view of the locator room coming back into focus. Today was the day. I was going to figure out this secret. My bags were packed, complete with the letters, and were sat on the floor beside me. The headquarters were completely empty, thanks to Entoma, a holiday I was supposed to attend, though my plans were more important. They couldn't possibly get a ship ready fast enough in time to get to me, so here's to trying.

I took a deep breath and shoved the locator disk into the universe map. The chip was old so I could barely make out the pinpoint, and I don't know if the area I'm going to is still populated.
"I can't keep procrastinating." I grabbed the screen map and deleted the file so that no one could trace it back to me before I jumped into the shuttle and logged into the computer.
"Hello, Princess z̼͙̓́ͭahira." The automated voice spoke aloud.
"Shhh!! You're gonna get me caught."
"hello princess Zahira" the machine whispered. I giggled before blasting off. My long hair filled the shuttle and frequently got in my eyes as I tried to drive.

The map was hard to read, especially with the old technology in which I wasn't well versed in, causing me to go off course a few times. Upon thinking I found the planet, I actually landed on a red dune that was basically a mirror of this '£-4R-Th', I met some pretty cool locals there who had been kind enough to help me fill up my tank.
But alas, the journey had to continue.

As I was arriving, something burst a hole into my tank, making all the vennin oil pour out. My shuttle was busted and began to lose all power, I didn't know if I was on the right planet or not and the chip couldn't help me locate what I was looking for. So all I could do was wait for my shuttle to land and hope I survived the impact.

~End of Flashback~

As the door creepily opened to my ship, I had my dagger at hand. For all I knew I could be encountering an alien, or worse... A human.  I started to yell, but a human peered their face in, and I was left dumbfounded and scared.
