Welcome to another chapter ya'll :) It's nice of you to stick around, this is the base product for the prologue chapter 2—I say base product because I'll need to gather comments in order to learn as a writer, so, just like the last chapter—I would appreciate if you leave story comments (and Ei headcanons that could help me write her character. I will implant it in later chapters.)

That's all, enjoy reading.

In another place back in time. Grim and Mephisto chased each other, hallway to hallway—room to room, fervently smiting and throwing each other balls of flames. Grim's ears burned bright, with Mephisto's purplish irises burning just the same—holding the same passion to throw down the other party. Grim didn't know why Mephisto was so mad at him, but he wasn't going to let any purplish-pink flames burn his precious fur!

The action remained consistent—that was until Grim entered a room that left people inside of it shaken by their bargained presence. Mephisto was quick to grab Grim by his scruff; ending the argument and avoiding causing a scene.

He quickly apologized and bowed down to the people in the room—their attention was quickly diverted back at each other; of course, there were some exceptions like a red-head male, a lion, a male with glasses, a blondie, and an albino.

Grim was paralyzed, but his voice hinted at resistance. "Nyaro-!! Human-! Let me-"

Mephisto quickly interrupted him in a low voice, "Not here," His feet strode him to the side of the room—a distance away from the rest. "This is the place where they're holding the entrance ceremony."

The people continued their chatter—welcoming, bickering, and making new enemies/allies. From there, a short boy with crimson-colored hair coughed loudly.

"That should be all of the dorm assignments for the new students I presume..." He mumbled under his breath; slowly turning to the pile of people that stood before him. "Listen up new students, from here on out—here in Heartslabyul— I am the rules. Break them-" He gestures his wand to his neck; flicking it. "And It's off with your head." The students before him could only whimper in fear.

"Finally...that stuffy ceremony is finally over." The male lion had started to speak his mind; paired with a brooding voice and a loud—almost roar-like—yawn. "We're heading back to the dorm, Savanaclaw, roll out."

"Congratulations on entering this academy, new students. As Octavinelle's dorm leader, I must support each of you to the best of my abilities. Please, enjoy your life here to its fullest." The man with glasses said; clapping his hands and giving the new batch a round of applause, with the rest of them following suit—hugging and cheering.

"Just what on earth happened to the headmaster..? He flew out right in the middle of the ceremony." A man with a fair face and purple hair tips started to question, his thumb and index fingers resting on his chin.

"He practically abandoned his post..." The tablet answered; the sounds of clicking keys going off behind the screen. "What do you think, Kalim?"

The boy in a turban tilted his head to the side, "Maybe he gained a stomach ache in the middle of it or something...?" He answered; the answer coming off as more of a question rather than an answer.

Suddenly, the doors to the room opened once more—signaling arrival. Two figures had strode themselves in; everyone's eyes darting at their sudden arrival. One—being obvious—was the headmaster himself, considering how flashy he opened the doors; to some people's surprise, someone emerged from behind him; chewing on an apple.
