Quick Disclaimer before we start this chapter: Updates are slow because of proof-reading. A writer sometimes proof-read's their work in order to deliver what was intended; the same applies to me. (Ramshackle Hallway)
"Grim..?"
"FNYAH!!! J-Just what are you doing!?!?" Hearing a familiar voice, Mephisto and Ei looked up from the ground and saw Grim floating up in the air, his small arms flailing around as he was carried and tossed around by the same three ghosts that popped out of nowhere.
Ei quickly equipped her blade and was ready to attack. That was until Mephisto stopped abruptly and shook his head. He wanted to let Grim down too, Ei was powerful and he wasn't sure if her powers remained the same after getting transported to this world, but if that were the case. He didn't want her to act rash, less she wanted to harm Grim in the process of saving him—he didn't want to harm the ghosts either..
"Mephisto-?"
"Calm down, Ei. I'll handle this, okay?" He said with a small smile as he magically took out a transparent whip in thin air—it was the same one he used earlier. "I'll try to finish this quickly."
Ei eyed at Mephisto and then the lasso before backing down; now was his chance. Swiftly, Mephisto threw the lasso in the air; aiming for the four of them—the lasso's hole widening. He then tugged on the lasso by the time it surrounded the three ghosts, but it seemed like they were quick on their... feet and dodged it in the nick of time; flying up higher. Grim growled loudly at how high up he was starting to get.
"Nyaro! P-Put me down now!" Grim growled as he began spewing fire at the ghosts, causing them to suddenly let go and drop him by accident. "FYNAH!! H-HUMAN- C-CATCH ME!"
Ei was already on the move, and with lighting speed, she was able to catch Grim whilst fending herself in midair from the ghosts' attempts to take her along, her blade almost cutting them in half.
The thunder from outside roared loudly, as Ei's feet landed on the creaky floorboards. She gently lets Grim down who scurried over to Mephisto's side, both ready to do their own strike if ever things go wrong.
Ei's eyes glowed with a vibrant purple, the thunder resonating with this transformation and roaring louder...

The moonlight and roaring thunder shone down their light on them, and although it was beautiful—a weather this bad was also concerning for the average person.
