"As expected, your hometown was and is not listed in any part of the map, much less in all of history!" Crowley exclaimed, sighing in exhaustion as he sifted through the books. His already broad frown deepened even further. "It would seem as what you told me—about you being from another world—is entirely possible. And yet, the question remains...how can the ebony carriage traverse into a whole new dimension?" In frustration, he vigorously scratched his head, contemplating theories on how such a significant error could occur.

"Headmage, you should take a chill pill." Mephisto suggested, but Crowley looked even more defeated. "We'll figure something out, but for now- let's focus on something else. Headmage~ where are we supposed to stay if we can't go back home?" He began to taunt to the defeated crowman, his shoulders shrugging as his face showed a sarcastic frown. Upon reflection, Ei pondered that question too.

Crowley displayed a look of surprise—'where will they stay?' If they hailed from another world, it's not very kind of him to leave them be. My, that would truly be heartless! He lets out small cough, and his seriousness came rushing back to him. "Well, this is quite the dilemma... I cannot have someone with no magic bumble about in my magic academy. And yet, as an educator, I cannot simply expel young people without a cent in their name." Crowley internally smiled to himself, repeating how gracious he was.

Meanwhile, Ei was reading one of the few books she found interesting when she scavenged for information. Mephisto, who sat beside her, couldn't help but be curious and leaned in closer. Ei was reading a picture book of two girls running around a place full of green grass and flowers. The more Ei flicked through the pages, the more he was unsure as to why it was interesting.

However, he couldn't help but smile at Ei's fascination with a simple picture book. His curiosity piqued—was she recalling something? Perhaps she found the pictures especially captivating? He couldn't tell, but he enjoyed it.

Ei asked him with her head tilted when she caught his small stare. "Is something on my face?" Mephisto casually brushed off the assertion, reassuring her that it was nothing and his mind was merely wandering—effectively concealing his enjoyment of seeing her smile. Ei still felt a bit uncertain though.

"Ah," Crowley's sudden loud voice caught their attention. "There is a vacant building on this campus. It was used as a dorm long ago, though it's abandoned by now. It should be a great place to stay in temporarily with proper cleaning. I will allow you to live there for the time being. Oh how gracious I am!" Crowley said, doing a tiny twirl with his last two sentences. "I shall take you to your dorm right away. It has plenty of...character for an old building. I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much!"

(Ramshackle Dorm)

The Ramshackle dorm—the dorm they're supposed to stay for the time being—was a run-down building with so much character; maybe even too much

The noticeable cobwebs and vines covering the mansion from head to toe, gave it a look of a horror mansion; the broken walls and windows gave it an eerie vibe. Overall, the characteristics of this dorm was- over-the-top, if you will.

Mephisto was fine with the get-up, after all, this wasn't the first time he came to this place. He wasn't so sure if Ei was fine with the gimmick though, so he asked her about it, to which Ei simply nodded,

"I don't really mind as long as it's made for living. Crowley did say that once we clean this place up, it'll be a great place." She answered, looking back at the run-down dorm with scrunched brows and a small frown. "Though, I'm not so sure If I can clean effectively.. I've always stayed inside my plane of Euthymia."
