Wow, I can't believe I only got back to writing this story now when vacation is nearing its end; I really need to fix that habit if I want to succeed in writing a novel. Anyways, here's the next chapter of the book! School's coming up so I don't know If I'll ever get enough time to finish another chapter, but I'll continue to do my best.
Help, Wattpad's text tools are cracking up- (;′⌒')

➳ With one swing of his wand and a final chant to end it all, he declared loudly...
"IT'S OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!"***
Grim's neck was fastened with a heart-shaped collar following Riddle's incantation. His attitude changed from one of pride to one of disbelief as he struggled to remove the collar.
"Nyaro-! What's with this stupid collar!?" Grim, still struggling to remove the collar off his neck, sounded frustrated. "Get it off!!"
"Queen of Heart Rule no. 23: 'One must not bring a pet to a formal affair', like the entrance ceremony for example. Your presence here is a violation of that said rule, you'll need to exit these premises this instant." Riddle informed the feline and pointed his wand with a tinge of anger—evident by his slightly glowing cheeks.
Still, Grim persisted. 'He was no cat!' and resisted—this time using his flames, only for him to release a tiny cloud of smoke. He began to panic, "W-What gives?! Why can't I use my fire?"
"Until I remove that collar, you'll be like any other cat. You won't be able to use your magic." proudly said Riddle, smirking at the unfruitful attempt.
Grim was shocked. "N-No way...I'm not a cat, and I ain't nobody's pet- NEVER!" He yelled, and looked down at the collar in pure terror.
Meanwhile his two companions were looking at him from afar, and Ei already fully healed up from the shock. She felt her heart clench at the sight of Grim. The feline gritted his teeth and looked like he was holding back tears. Her heart lulling her to lend a hand in whatever way it could in his situation. Mephisto, however, warned that she didn't have to and that the scenario needed to happen as a part of "something," yet he was unwilling to go into detail.
"I need to help him, Mephisto..." Ei said to him. "Grim is...what do humans say it- a companion. Yes, Grim is my companion. I need to help him."
Mephisto kept his attention on her, his grip stiffening as he asked, "You've only met Grim today, Isn't that too early to make him a companion?"
Ei stared at him in predicament, and topped his question with another. "Do you, perhaps, not consider Grim as your companion?"
Mephisto went silent, and withdrew his grip. 'Maybe? Maybe not...' No, he technically WAS his companion, but for Ei...He wasn't so sure about her. Inazuma's archon, the mighty ogosho...I mean, why would he know what's on her mind? They've only just gotten to know each other.
Mephisto asked her a second time, "Are you sure you consider Grim as your companion, Archon of Inazuma?" All Ei could do was gaze at him, and yet even if she said nothing. Her eyes told him all the answers he needed.
