. : Sebastian of Havfrue : .

"Sebastian, did you know that there are other ways to transfer magic than kissing?"

"Sebastian, if I use up all my magic, will you kiss me too?"

Sebastian flipped a filthy gesture toward Pandora and Orpheus, rolling his eyes, before ducking his head to hide his warm face. The two Sages shared matching evil grins. They had spent the better part of the last six months in Havfrue, bumming off of his father's hospitality and climbing the trading empire. They were skilled merchants and diplomats, and Sebastian was fairly certain that was the only reason his father kept them around.

"Leave Sebastian alone. He didn't know, and Laura doesn't remember, so there is no need to keep bringing it up."

Sebastian blinked thankfully at Clarissa as she told off the two Sages. He didn't know much of the Sage-- she had been trapped by the School Master for most of the war-- but he liked her.

Most of the council-- with the exception of Merlin, who was fashionably late as always-- were waiting in the large open foyer, waiting for the doors to the throne room to open so they could be seated. Long green and gold decorations hung from the ceiling, and representatives from every kingdom-- Ever and Never-- mingled, as they waited for Laura's coronation.

Sebastian had been sent-- along with his mother-- as a representative for Havfrue. As a result, he was in the stark white and blue uniform that these occasions called for. A gold rope ran across the white formal military jacket on his chest, and the crab symbol of Havfrue was embroidered over his chest. His mother had vanished a while ago, and Sebastian assumed it was to seek out Laura's mother.

"They are opening the doors."

Sebastian followed Ophelia's gaze and fell into step with Orpheus, walking towards the massive throne room. They passed through the entrance, and Sebastian peered up, looking through the massive domed glass ceiling.

"If you need any help with seducing her," Orpheus nudged him. "Let me know, I consider myself quite the lady's man."

Sebastian shoved the tall man. "Go fuck yourself."

Orpheus' laugh trailed behind him as he walked ahead to join his mother, Tedros, and Agatha in the second row. He sat between his mother and Tedros, before scanning the room.

There was a similar setup to his father's coronation. Next to the tall golden throne, sat a table with a large sword and the Crown of Villeneuve. A few advisors, wearing long green robes, stood near the throne, speaking amongst themselves.

The crowd settled into their chairs, and Sebastian watched as Laura's mother came in, settling into the front row, just in front of him. She glanced back to smile at his mother, before focusing forward again.

A loud trumpet fanfare sounded, and the head advisor, holding a thick tome stepped forward.

"All rise for the Queen of Villeneuve."

There was a screeching of chairs and a rustling of fabric as the hundreds in the massive room stood. Sebastian joined the crowd in looking backwards, to where Laura stood in the massive doors, waiting to enter.

As the room silenced, the advisor beckoned, and she began to walk.

Sebastian watched the handmaidens carry the dramatically long cloak behind her. Laura was keeping her eyes focused forward, and Sebastian smiled as he felt her magic brush against his in greeting. He sent back a rush of calm energy.

She came to a stop in front of them, her back to the audience. The advisor gestured for her to kneel and she do so. Sebastian scanned her figure. Her hair had been neatly braided into twists, and her cheeks were tinged pink.
