hello dear readers.
Up-front confession. I'm sorry to disappoint everyone who has expressed interest in this work, but I've run out of my own steam and need to put this book on hold. I'm not sure how to proceed with the plot at this point beyond the extremely high number of incomplete chapters I had originally planned. In addition, I'm unsure of when or even if I'll pick up where I left off. I understand how aggravating it is when authors do this- (i get it, i hate it too), but right now, my oneshot book is my top priority.
If this work receives enough support, I might revisit it, but for now, I'd like to start some other major rottmnt pieces that aren't quite as violent, messed up and brutal like this one. To be completely honest, writing this book feels unsettling. The thing that gets to me is both the disturbing detailed parts of the story's plot (i'm sure you know what i'm talking about) and the role of the lead character. Any attempt I make to resurrect this will feel blatantly incorrect or unreasonable, regardless of what I try to do to make the main character have some sort of development. truth is, they're an assassin. i don't think that there is any character development when that's the role of the main character- it feels even more wrong to be writing it when it's the reader themselves. i feel heavily in the wrong here, and have since the start. i just didn't have the guts to stop this when i wanted to.
in replacement of this, i am open to other suggestion plots for a replacement book :) the character will probably be donnie or leo. just a heads up.
