Teeth

Chapter 1

In a small village lived three little girls, Jane, the oldest of the three, Emily and Lola, the youngest. The three loved to go on adventures, exploring lost places around their home, with a very strong imagination, they build their own world outside their strict orphanage.

"Ladies, I got the map!", Jane joined her sisters.

"You do?!", Lola yelled excited.

"Shh! Not so loud."

"Sorry."

"You found the house?", Emily asked.

"Yes, if we go on this path no one will see us, we have time to explore the villa and look for ghosts and be right back for dinner.", Jane explained.

"When do you want to go?"

"Tomorrow early noon, right after breakfast."

"Okay, but what about Mrs Jones? She'll be furious if she finds out."

"She won't know, she never caught us. Also she can't kick us out."

"But she can punish us. I don't want to be punished again, I still have ash in places where it doesn't belong."

"Do you want to solve the mystery of the haunted villa or not?"

"Yeah, we do."

"So, deal?"

"Deal."

They went to the huge dining hall with the other kids, eating in silence. Mrs Jones, the principal, went through the rows, checking their manners, slapping the back of their heads when they didn't behave properly. She was a strict woman, the kids were scared of her, she wanted to teach them manners, so the chance of adoption was higher. She didn't allow talking while eating, loud chewing, not sitting properly, or not eating like she expected them to do. Most kids were adopted after a few weeks or months, except the three sisters, they were stuck in this place for five years. No matter how many people were interested, they all cancelled last minute.

"You three, I have news for you.", Mrs Jones started.

"Did someone accept us?", Jane asked trying to hide her excitement.

"No, just Lola."

"What? They can't separate us!"

"I can and I will, I would never get you out of this establishment. If I would've know how much trouble you were I wouldn't have accepted."

"But we're sisters, we don't want to get separated."

"I don't care what you want, I want to keep my good reputation and three girls without manners won't make me look good. But as if anyone ever want annoying brats like you. But luckily in a few months you're too old and I can kick you out."

"You can't do this."

"I can and I will. It's bedtime in 30 minutes.", she left.

The sisters went to bed, hurt about her words.

"I don't want to leave you.", Lola sobbed.

"We won't allow this.", her sisters hugged her.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
