"Here's the copy.", Andreas whispered two days later when Emily walked into the Villa.

"Thanks."

"What do you plan with it?"

"Surprise.", she grinned.

"So, what's up, Dracula?", Jane sat down.

"Not much. It's a bit awkward now that you don't have a mission anymore."

"We have one."

"Which is?"

"Keeping Lola away from that family."

"Have a plan?"

"No. Just hoping they cancel."

"What will you do after?"

"No idea. Find a place to live, get a job."

"I can support you if you want?"

"We don't need your help."

"It's an offer."

"We can take care of ourselves, thank you.", Jane smiled crossing her arms.

"I took care of us for years, we don't need some wannabe Dracula to help us."

"Calm down, I just wanted to be nice and return the favour."

"We ask you to for that favour when we need it."

"Why are you so rude?"

"I am not rude, I just don't want you to think we depend on you just because we helped you with your problem."

"I didn't even asked you to."

"We know. We can decide what we do."

"Until some weird lady gives you homework and you come here for help."

"This was just one time."

"Two times.", both got slightly pissed and the others felt the tension.

"But never again, you didn't even bother to help us."

"Do I look like your father? It's not my job to help you, and if I do it's just because I want to. But maybe you should learn discipline and respect.", Mikelson growled.

"We don't need you.", Jane hissed back.

"And I don't need you."

But then Lola stood up and sat between the two vampires, hugging Mikelson. Surprised everyone stared at her, but she didn't care.

"I have no idea what she's doing.", Mikelson looked at her sisters.

"Maybe we don't need you, but doesn't mean it can't be nice anyway.", she whispered.

"I...", he stuttered.

"Maybe she's right.", Andreas said with a smile.

"Lola..."

"Are you really taking his side?"

"It's not his side, it's a possibility."

"I need to leave.", Jane left.

"What's wrong with her today?", Andreas asked.

"She's probably nervous because this appointment is in two days, and that she turns 15 soon.", Emily said.

"What did you mean by possibility?", Mikelson asked.

"For a new life."

"Oh my.....Lola.....I......listen. I will support you with everything I have but I can't adopt you."

"Why not?"

"I.....just can't."

"It's okay. We don't want to force you."

"We better go check on Jane.", Emily grabbed Lola's hand and they left.

"What the hell was that?", Emily asked Jane back in their room.

"I don't know."

"It's hard for all of us but he tries to help."

"He won't adopt us."

"Maybe, but we still have a place to stay until we find something else."

"Maybe. I feel terrible now."

"It's okay. Don't worry."

"I'm sorry guys."

"We are all nervous."

"Tomorrow, I go back apologize."

"I hope."

"Do you think they are alright?", Andreas asked his husband.

"I hope. I was too rude."

"You weren't."

"I hope they are not mad."
