Chapter 11

The next day Jane nervously knocked on the big heavy door.

"Calmed down?"

"Listen. I am sorry, I am just nervous for tomorrow, I don't know what will happen or what I will do after."

"It's okay, I forgive you. If you need help or someone to talk, we are here."

"Thank you. Are you mad?"

"No. Are you mad at me?"

"No. We stumbled in your life, it's new for all of us."

"Technically you broke in.", he grinned.

"Shut up."

"Anyway, I might have an idea what Lola could do tomorrow."

"What is it?", the girls sat down.

"What if.."

"What of what?"

"You behave like you're crazy."

"Define crazy."

"Either you act like you ate too much sugar and never sleep or you do the kinda creepy horror loving kid with a weird perspective on life."

"I wear a fluffy dress with a bow, I don't think they'll believe the horror thing."

"Aren't the cute looking girls the psychos in horror movies?"

"He's got a point.", Emily shrugged.

"Maybe I do a good mix of both."

"Don't do too much, or you make yourself suspicious. "

"I'll be careful."

"How can you come here every day without getting caught?", Mikelson crossed his long skinny legs, showing off the blood red soles of his shoes.

"We climb out of the window, we are usually free except duties, breakfast, dinner and some classes."

"Thought this lady might get suspicious."

"We did that all the time exploring lost places."

"Sounds dangerous, doesn't it?"

"Are you caring for us?"

"No. I just don't want to read about dead goblins in the newspaper.", he said with a cheeky grin, his fangs peeking out.

"Don't worry you won't. Even the new families couldn't stop us."

"Thought you didn't want new families?"

"Thought you didn't care?"

"Touché."

"When is this meeting tomorrow?"

"12am."

"Okay, we will wait for the result then. You will come over after, right?"

"Of course."

"We wish you the best."

"Thanks. See you tomorrow."

"Yeah."

Back in their room none of the girls could sleep. Lola just hugged her pillow, Emily turned around every few minutes and Jane just stared at the ceiling, playing with her thumbs.

"I'm scared.", Lola said.

"I know, but everything will be alright."

"Yeah, we will always be there for you."

"I know, I love you."

"We love you too."
