And again the next morning the three girls knocked on the big wooden door.

"You? Again?

"Yes."

"How do your parents allow you to hang around here?"

"If they would care about us, we wouldn't climb out of the window of a shitty orphanage."

"So, your parents left you behind."

"Yes, safe your shitty comments we don't want to hear it."

"Okay..You're pretty tough, how old are you?"

"I'm 14, Emily is 12 and Lola is 10."

"You're so young."

"And you're old, now tell us how you turned your little lover into a vampire without dying."

"Okay, you can sit down if you want.", he said and sat on his desk.

The girls nodded and sat on the sofa, Andreas joining the group.

"So, I was pretty young back then, I already lived here, I left my home in the middle east, I wanted to see the world. I saw this house on one of my tripsI loved it at the first sight and bought it. A few hundred years later he knocked on my door, like you guys, he was curious, he came here a few times until I opened the door, time immediately froze. We spend more time together, slowly falling in love, but I knew I would outlive him, I am immortal, he wasn't, my only chance was biting him. I told him about this, and he agreed, but I knew I was allergic. I closed my eyes and bit him, after a few minutes I saw that it worked, he grew fangs, his eye colour changed, and his skin was pale. But I felt how I got sick, my vision got blurry and I couldn't breathe, I collapsed."

"I caught him before hitting the ground, he just managed to whisper that he was allergic, but wanted to live with me, I checked everything for medicine, I took everything I found, hoping I would get the right one."

"He did, he managed to save me, I explained my medics to him, so he knows what to do."

"Thats so cute.", Emily squeaked.

"Well if you say so."

"You are married too?"

"Yeah, it was only 150 years ago, we sat on the roof, the full moon shining, after a while I pulled out a ring, I didn't say much, just smiling at him. He smiled back and nodded before he kissed me.", Mikelson shyly smiled at Andreas.

"Then we secretly married in an old church, just his family, as I already outlived mine, he looked stunning in his smoking, we danced all night under another full moon.", Andreas added.

"That sounds so romantic.", Emily said with a dreamy look.

"Yeah, it kinda was.", Mikelson stood up and sat on the other chair.

"Do you have wedding pics?", Lola asked.

"No."

"Aw, why not?"

"Well, I.....didn't want to.", Mikelson bit his lip.

"Is that true?", Jane asked Andreas, but he just looked over at his husbands worried face.

"Yes, we didn't want any pics."

"I'll be back in a few minutes, excuse me.", the tall man left the room.

"Is he okay?"

"I think so. But just to be sure I'll check on him.", Andreas followed.

"Weird people, anyway, let's see what he works on.", Jane stood up and looked through the notes on the desk.

"Not a fan of this but what did you find?"

"Nothing special, sketches of outfits, and random guys in his clothes."

"Show us."

"Here, it's weird they all look similar but still different, some similarities to him but then not at all."

"What are you doing at my desk?!", Mikelson hissed.

"We were curious."

"Give that back you goblins!", he ripped the sketches out of their hands.

"What are those?"

"Designs and none of your business."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't need your little noses in all my stuff. Don't you have to go back or something?"

"Unfortunately, yes, we have to go, but we will come back.", they left.

"I hate those kids."

"Do you hate them or that they hit a nerve?"

"Now I hate you too."

Back in their room, Mrs Jones entered.

"There you are, Lola, I have good news for you next week will be an appointment to meet the couple who wants to adopt you. I hope you will behave.", she left again.

"What? Already? We need to stop them."

"Don't worry guys, I'll be fine.", Lola sadly smiled.

"We won't leave you behind."

"That's maybe our last chance to get adopted."

"I will find a home for us."

"I hope."
