"I'M BACK!" Lorelai said while walking in with four movies in her hand. 

"Kitchen!" Rory said in reply to let Lorelai know where they were.

"Mmkay, I couldn't make up my mind so I got 'The Shining' and 'Bringing Up Baby.' Now, I know you're thinking, one's a movie about a homicidal parent and the other one's-" Lorelai said but stopped when she saw Rory, Rowan, and Sookie lined up Infront of the kitchen table. 

"hello.?" 

"Hi." 

"Hi mom" Rory and Rowan said. 

"What'd you break Rowan?" Lorelai asked while eyeing her skeptically. 

"What? I- nothing" Rowan said very offended by the assumption. "Well the broiler broke, but that was all of us. 

"That's besides the point." sookie said. "This came in for you and Max" 

They all moved to the sides revealing a wrapped gift on the table. 

"We're thinking its a wedding present." Rory said.

"Huh. Mmm. Lorelai Gilmore and Max Medina." Lorelai said while looking at the gift tag. "Well, I guess news doesn't always travel fast." Lorelai continued awkwardly.

"You gonna open it?" Sookie said eagerly. 

"No." Lorelai replied firmly.

"there might be something valuable in there." Rowan said while shifting her weight on her heels.

"Yea, and aren't you curious?" Sookie added.

"No. Just leave it there. I'll take it back tomorrow." Lorelai said dismissively. 

"There's no return address.." Rory said in a persistent tone.

Lorelai opened the gift which turned out to be an Ice cream machine while Rowan tuned out the rest of the conversation and finished her cereal.

Rowan laid her head on her locker bored out of her mind as she listened to Jule complain about the scream franchise. 

"I mean it's so stupid! it made no sense to kill of Randy- Are you even listening to me?" Jule asked frantically while snapping in Rowan's face. Only God knows why he's so passionate about this subject. 

"Honestly no." Rowan said while swatting Jule's hand from her face. "and get your dirty hands away from my face." 

"My hands are clean" Jule said while rolling his eyes and trying to discreetly smell his hands. 

"Are they really?" Rowan finalized as Carmen and Liya walked up to them. 

Carmen looked over the two and stopped her eyes on Rowan. "Rowan why the hell are you dressed like a bum." 

"I can't dress comfily anymore?" Rowan asked while playfully nudging Carmen. "Plus, I'm an athlete, everyone knows sweatpants and a sweatshirt are the classic basketball player attire."

"Classic bum attire" Carmen corrected while Liya snickered in response. 

"I wouldn't let them disrespect me like that Rowan" Jule said while shaking his head. "Love really turns people into fools." Jule said while observing how Rowan looked at Carmen. Carmen really could do anything to Rowan, and Jule was fully confident Rowan would let it slide. 

"yea right." Rowan said while scoffing and pushing carmen away from her. "she wishes I was in love with her". 

Carmen narrowed her eyes at Rowan then raised her eyebrow in a challenging way, as if she was amused by the whole interaction.
