Lorelai, Rory and Rowan sat at a table in Luke's Diner (perusual) eating breakfast. Rory was staring holes into her mothers face hoping she would eat faster so she can go to school while Rowan doing the opposite since she hates school.

"How are the eggs?" Rory asked while scanning her mother.

"Good"

"I'm glad."

"They're still good" Lorelai added on as Rory kept staring at her.

"I'm still glad."

"Look freak, we will not be late" Lorelai said while eating her food. Rowan had no idea why Rory wanted to be early for school, sometimes she questions her sisters sanity.

"Its the first day of school. I wanna get there early!" Rory pleaded

"Chilton freak" Rowan mumbled while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate. "Only a Chilton kid would be begging their parent to take them to school early."

"Why are you even still here? Stars Hollow high is literally walking distance from here." Rory countered getting annoyed at her sister.

"If you haven't noticed golden child I hate school, so I'll do anything to prolong my fate there." Rowan grumbled. She was still in a sour mood because of her interaction with Carmen yesterday morning and was not excited to see her at school today.

"That's enough! Rory we will get there early." Lorelai said trying to prevent any bloodshed between the two girls.

"You only hate school because you don't try." Rory said ignoring her mothers statement and continuing the argument.

"I hate school because its hard, a waste of time, and full of shitty people who I have to deal with for 6 hours of my life every single weekday." Rowan exclaimed.

"Damn who pissed in your cereal Rowan?" Lorelai asked surprised at the random burst negativity. "Did someone deflate your basketball again?" Lorelai added trying to lighten Rowans damp mood.

"Carmen pissed in her cereal." Jule said. Rowan turned around to see her bestfriend Jule walking in with his skateboard and disintegrating book bag and Lane Kim, Rory's bestfriend by his side. "She turned down the invite to go to Ro's scrimmage today because she has a date with Hunter.

Great more company.

"You just always seem to be at all the places where nobody wants you." Rowan mumbled while picking at her plate of eggs.

"Wait what, you guys are basically dating!" Lorelai exclaimed.

"That's what I said." Jule said while shrugging.

"You basically got cheated on. My condolences Ro." Rory said while putting a hand on Rowans shoulder in an attempt to comfort her.

"I get what you're going through Rowan. When I was 10 my crush who was my boyfriend who was not actually my boyfriend cheated on me with another woman." Lane said while putting a hand on her heart in an empathetic way. Rowan rolled her eyes and shoved Rory's hand off of her shoulder.

"God I hate you all." Rowan said while glaring at all of them. "We're not together and I don't care who she dates. Me and Carmen are just friends!"

"*Carmen and I." Rory corrected with a teasing grin. "When addressing your girlfriend use proper grammar, its respectful!"

Lorelai and Jule snickered as Rowan aggressively picked up her bookbag and started to stomp out the diner.

"Bye guys!" Jule yelled to Lane, Lorelai, and Rory as he quickly followed after the hotheaded girl.
