Shouta was beyond pissed. Kaminari had been unbelievably brave coming out to her friends not once, not twice, but a total of three times including her text and these little assholes had the unmitigated gall to act like this ? Not on his watch, he wasn't raising bigots.

He had been ready to throw them in detention for the rest of their lives and start daily lectures on proper human decency when Kaminari first told him about the lunch incident. He had believed the girl when she told him they would do better, he decided to give them that chance. Listening to the recording Midoriya sent made him want to go back in time and kneecap himself to teach that idiot a lesson.

Once his students were gathered in the common room as requested he sat his phone on the table and pressed play on the recording. They listened to Kaminari come out, lose her patience, and leave. His students were all studying their hands or the floor, either too ashamed or scared to look at the rage on his face as Midoriya's voice started up.

"I can't believe you all would treat Kaminari this way. She trusted you all enough to tell you this massively important thing about herself and you chose to act like a bunch of ignorant assholes who must have been raised by rocks. Because I know no decent human that would encourage you to act like this to anyone let alone someone you claim is your friend."

An indistinct voice tried to say something, but Midoriya cut the person off. "Unless the next words out of your mouth are 'I'm sorry I've been a disgrace to my parents and I'll go apologize to Kaminari right now' I don't want to fucking hear them. Treating someone as kind as Kaminari like this makes you the lowest of the low and it sure as shit doesn't make you worthy of the hero course at a McDonalds, let alone the best school in Japan."

Momo's normally calm voice was shaky, "I for one, will be attempting to make up for my ignorance as soon as Kaminari is ready to hear my apologies."

"Momo, you can't possibly believe this crap?" Jirou sounded outraged, Before anyone could respond to that, their phones went off. Everyone paused to read the text Kaminari had sent the group chat. Jirou, unfortunately, was the first to address it. "Oh my god, he's threatening to report us now? This is bullshit."

Uraraka agreed, "Does he really expect us to believe he doesn't want to go to girls' night when that was the whole reason he started lying about this?"

Hagakure piped in, "He even told the teachers he's a girl? Is he trying to get into our dressing room and bathrooms now too? That's so creepy!"

A loud crashing noise followed by several gasps explained the dried food on the wall with a shattered plate still sitting under it. Midoriya was full on screaming now, "What the chicken fried fuck is wrong with you? Why would someone lie about their gender to get into your bathroom or changing room? Why would someone want to be treated as a gender they aren't just to watch people change? You all disgust me."

Sero tried to diffuse the situation, "Look if Mr Aizawa believes it, we should all seriously consider that maybe Kaminari is trans."

"Yeah, it's basically impossible to trick Aizawa." Kirishima's voice sounded far too peppy for the situation.

Midoriya sounded seconds away from murder, "So you'll believe what Aizawa tells you but not your own friend? You'd take the word of someone else about Kaminari's gender over her own? You all say you're allies, but this is bigot behavior. Reevaluate yourselves."

The recording ended there and Shouta picked up his phone to slide it in his pocket. "Does anyone want to explain why you all decided to be transphobic to your classmate before I decide to cut my losses and expel the lot of you?"

It sadly didn't surprise him when Jirou stood up angrily, "It isn't transphobic because he isn't trans!"

Shouta kept his stoic face on, "Expelled. Pack your things and be out of the dorms by noon tomorrow. Your parents will be notified within the hour."

She looked ready to attempt a screaming match when Momo spoke up, "Jirou, it's best if we don't see each other anymore. I won't be in a relationship with someone who acts this way about someone coming out."

Jirou turned to gape at her now ex girlfriend. "He isn't coming out Momo, he's tricking everyone. You can't break up with me over something this stupid."

Aoyama had never looked as angry as right then, "Someone coming out isn't stupid and I will no longer sit by as everyone says these horrible things just because I don't want you to turn on me. I am too fabulous for a gender and as a fellow trans person I was too scared to speak up before, but I can't be in a class with people who treat my community like this."

Shouta was more than a little surprised by what Bakugo had to say, "Since everyone's coming out apparently, I'm a trans man. I kept my mouth shut because sparky can usually handle herself, but from now on anyone who has an issue with her has an issue with me."

Everyone stared at the explosive blonde in shock, except for Kirishima who smiled proudly at his boyfriend and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Jirou opened her mouth again, but Bakugo set off a small warning explosion. "Ears, you aren't in this class anymore so you aren't part of the class meeting. So shut your fucking mouth and leave."

The promise of murder in his eyes had Jirou huffing and storming from the room. They watched her go and a beat of quiet passed before Uraraka broke it. "Look, I'll call Kaminari whatever she wants us to, but I'm not comfortable with changing in the same dressing room or using the same bathroom."

Shouta pointed to the stairs, "Expelled."

Her mouth dropped open. "Sir I wasn't being transphobic! I just don't want someone who wants to see me naked in the same dressing room trying to sneak a peek."

Momo crossed her arms, "That's homophobic and who even says Kaminari is interested in you? I like girls and that doesn't mean I'm attracted to you."

Mina nodded, "I also like women and have never wanted to 'sneak a peek' in the changing room. Just because you're self absorbed enough to think everyone wants you doesn't make it true."

Shouta snapped his fingers to stop Uraraka from continuing the argument. "I won't tolerate any kind of discrimination and your comments at lunch yesterday and dinner today were your first and second strike. This was your third, get out."

Mina didn't even wait for the other girl to be out of the room before she turned back to her teacher. "Mr Aizawa, I was out of line and hurtful. I won't act like that about Kaminari's gender anymore."

It was then that Kaminari herself came into the room. "What about all the other things you say that hurt me?"

Everyone turned to look at her. Bakugo asked, "What are you talking about, Dunce Face?"

Kaminari pointed at him, "That right there! You keep calling me that horrible name even when I've asked you to stop. All of you make jokes about how stupid I am or how annoying I am even when i ask you to knock it off." Putting her shoulders back and straightening her posture, Kaminari looked at Shouta, "That's why I'm transferring to 1B. I already talked to Vlad King and he said he okayed it with Nedzu. It isn't because of you Mr Aizawa, and it isn't because I don't think you'd keep everyone from mistreating me. I just don't feel like staying in this class after the way I've been treated is good for my education."

Shouta sighed, "That is completely understandable. I will support you even after you transfer, you can feel free to come to me for any issues even if i'm not your teacher. We'll get you moved to your new dorm tomorrow. For now, everyone needs to be in their room in the next five minutes and I expect a three page paper on how your actions or inaction in this situation constituted transphobia that explains how you'll do better in the future on my desk first thing Monday."

No one bothered to groan about the work, simply leaving the room in quiet shame. Shouta patted Kaminari on the shoulder as he passed her. "Proud of you, kid."
