Groggily waking up, Giyuu slowly rubbed his eyes. He felt a warmth radiating on his hand. Wondering what it was, Giyuu turned over and realised Sanemi had fallen asleep on his arm. Giyuu gradually felt a smile spread across his face. To him, Sanemi was truly beautiful. The way that he had Giyuu mesmerised with every turn and twirl, it was intoxicating. 'Hm... he's so pretty.' Giyuu comfortably thought. 'I'll just stay like this for a few more minutes... before I have to leave.'
After seven minutes, Giyuu gently shook Sanemi awake. "Sanemi-san, Sanemi-san... Wake up." Giyuu whispered. Eventually, Sanemi fluttered his eyes open, checking his surroundings. When he finally came to terms with the fact that he fell asleep on top of Giyuu, Sanemi's whole body burned.
"HOOOLY SHIT—" Sanemi panicked. It startle Giyuu, making him jump up. Sanemi instantly sprung off the ground and ran into the bathroom.
"S-Sanemi-san! Are you okay?" Giyuu checked up on him, concerned. No response. "Sanemi-san?" Giyuu questioned again. Inside, Sanemi was regretting his whole life. Giyuu grew more worried by the second. "What is going on in there?" he knocked on the door. Sanemi inhaled a deep gush of air and exited the bathroom, face still a raging red.
"Ehem, sorry about that. I didn't feel too well..." Sanemi lied, rubbing the back of his neck. Giyuu nodded in understanding and attentively guided him to his bedroom.
"You should get some rest, Sanemi-san. I have somewhere I need to be, don't overwork yourself too hard, okay?" Giyuu barely smiled, as Sanemi sat upright in his bed.
"Thanks... I guess. Don't get yourself into any trouble, dummy." Sanemi snickered.
"Okay, I won't. Take care, bye." Giyuu waved. Whilst leaving the apartment, he exhaled a satisfied breath. 'I feel like I spent a lot of time with Sanemi-san today... That makes me happy.' Giyuu stood adjacent to the door for a few minutes, reliving the feeling of Sanemi's serenity on his hand.

Finally arriving at the hospital, Giyuu nervously walked in, hoping that he would hear good news today. He fiddled around with the gift bag he bought just for this occasion. "Hello, I'm here to visit Sabito in room 347." Giyuu requested.
"Oh! And young man, your name is?" the secretary questioned.
"Giyuu." he responded.
"Okay, come, Giyuu. Dear Sabito has told me a lot about you." she gave a friendly smile. Giyuu slightly bowed as he followed the secretary. He sighed, preparing himself for anything.
As he walked into the room, he saw a peach-haired figure staring at the world outside. "Sabito." Giyuu called out. The figure instantly turned around, flashing Giyuu a bright smile.
"Giyuu! Oh, I missed you! Whatcha got there?~" Sabito gleamed, sprinting up to hug him.
"Sabito, be careful! You're still sick, remember?" Giyuu frowned. He deeply cared for Sabito. Seeing him coughing up blood because of his own recklessness hurt Giyuu.
"Ah— I'm okay... Ehem, don't mind me! I'm just glad you came to see me again! It's been so long..." Sabito forced a grin, still wiping the blood off the corners of his mouth. Giyuu grabbed Sabito's hand, dragging him to his hospital bed.
"You're an idiot, you know that?! This is dangerous! Stop being so careless!" Giyuu scolded. Sabito chuckled, having not seen Giyuu so expressive since he was a child.
"Wow, since when was the emotionless Giyuu so angry? Calm down ya mama." Giyuu stared at him, unamused. Sabito pouted, lying down on his bed. Giyuu could tell that Sabito's state was only worsening by the days, as there was more blood on the bedsheets every time he would visit.
"Sabito, I'm serious. You have to take better care of yourself. You being so irresponsible is what led you to this in the first place." Giyuu grimaced, a negative aura surrounding him. Sabito winced at this.
"Ughh! Let's not talk about this... Let's talk about your little loverboy!~" Sabito wiggled his eyebrows teasingly. Giyuu's face instantly flushed pink, trying to hold himself back from throwing hands.
Ever since Sabito had fainted for the third time during a practice session, Ubuyashiki suspected that something was wrong with him. Sabito was taken to the doctors for a check up, and was diagnosed with hemoptysis and lung cancer. His doctors discovered that he initially had a cancerous tumour in his brain, but since Sabito's only focus was on figure skating, the cancer spread throughout his body to his lungs, further causing hemoptysis. It was already too late for any type of treatment or therapy. It was too late to go back.
Giyuu had always wondered, if maybe Sabito was just a bit more careful with his health, then this would never have happened. If maybe Sabito had listened to Ubuyashiki, then he would still be able to figure skate. "Well... Sanemi-san is just being his usual self." Giyuu sighed, wanting to spend as much time with Sabito as he could before...
"Oooh~ Have y'all fucked yet," Sabito giggled. Giyuu felt his soul exit his body.
"You too? Sabito, please..." Giyuu pleaded.
"Okay okay, fine! Heh..." Sabito laughed. Giyuu shook his head disapprovingly, reaching into his bag. After digging around for less than six seconds, Giyuu pulled out two matching hairpins. One was a salmon coloured fox, curled up into a ball. The other one was a deep blue colour in a shape of a swirled dragon. Giyuu carefully placed the fox in Sabito's hair, taking his ponytail out and pinning it into a half-up-half-down bun.
"Do you like it?" Giyuu grinned, clasping his hands together excitedly. Sabito immediately pounced on to Giyuu, squeezing him a tight hug.
"Awwe! Thank you so much, Giyuu~ I love it!" Sabito happily giggled. Giyuu hugged him back, though not as hard.
"I'm glad you like it, Sabito." he patted his head. It was Giyuu's own way of showing affection, since he wasn't that into physical touch.
"I love it! It's even my favourite colour! Ah, you're so nice... Sanemi really is a lucky guy!" Sabito playfully elbowed Giyuu in the gut. Giyuu blushed slightly at the thought of him and Sanemi together, holding hands.
"Now we'll match, Sabito. This is a token of our friendship." Giyuu hummed, putting his own hair into the same hairstyle.
"This is great! Can you stay with me until you have to go to practice? Pleaseee?" Sabito begged, using the puppy eyes that he knew Giyuu could never resist.
"Fine," Giyuu sighed, "But I can't stay for longer than two hours. Driving back home takes me a whole hour, so you better not make me arrive late again."
"Of course, Giyuu~ I'll make sure that you get there early!" Sabito gave Giyuu a closed eye smile. Giyuu tenderly placed Sabito down on the bed, sitting next to him. "Let's watch the trees! Oooh, let's birdwatch!" Sabito enthusiastically beamed.
"Okay, Sabito." Giyuu faintly chuckled at his childishness, running his fingers through Sabito's smooth hair.
