It was 6:55 and Giyuu had forgotten about the meetup with Sanemi. When the realisation hit him, Giyuu immediately started panicking. He dropped his plans of eating dinner and quickly stuffed some grapes into his mouth, substituting as his food for now. Giyuu rushed into his bedroom to wear something more appropriate. He decided to wear something casual, as he thought a suit and tie would be way too formal.
Getting into his car, it took Giyuu nearly 10 minutes to arrive to Sanemi's apartment. By the time he was knocking on Sanemi's door, Giyuu was already 12 minutes late. The click of the front door unlocking snapped Giyuu out of his thoughts, as he was met face to face with an angry Sanemi. "You're late, dimwit." Sanemi spat.
"Yes, I'm so sorry, Shinazugawa-san! It completely slipped from my mind..." Giyuu explained. Sanemi frowned and slammed the door in Giyuu's path.
"I told you if you were late, then you wouldn't be coming inside," Sanemi continued, "You really are pathetic."
Giyuu's mood dropped, as he was left dumbfounded in front of the Shinazugawa apartment. "Shinazugawa-san, I won't be leaving. We need to start this project." Giyuu stated. There was no reply. "Shinazugawa-san, please let me in." he repeated. No reply. "Shinazugawa-san, I'm being seri-"
"Okay, jeez! I'll let you in, you shitface. Calm ya ass down!" Sanemi yelled. He opened the door with a swing and a distressed Giyuu let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you Shinazugawa-san." Giyuu mumbled. Sanemi grumbled in return, as he led them both to his bedroom.
"So, how are we gonna do this?" Sanemi questioned. Giyuu sat there for a moment, and thought.
"Would you like to do ice dancing or pair skating?" he queeried.
"Tch, I really don't care. You can choose." Sanemi responded.
"Okay then. Maybe we should do pair skating, since ice dancing may be harder for us to do..." Giyuu started to ramble on about the pros and cons of ice dancing, while Sanemi completely zoned out. He started analysing Giyuu, from his pretty hair to his glossy eyes, to...
Suddenly, Sanemi recollected this thought process and slapped himself. 'Idiot! You hate him, you shouldn't be thinking of him that way! Ugh, and plus, it's not like that! A guy can admire another dude's beauty without being gay! I don't even like men.' Sanemi mentally scolded his mind for even wandering there. He didn't like men, neither did Giyuu. It was completely plantonic, right? (He's in denial)
"What do you think, Shinazugawa-san?" Giyuu asked. Sanemi lifted his head off the palm of his hand and didn't know what to say. 'Oh shit, I wasn't listening."
"Uhh, yeah I don't care." Sanemi tried to play it off cool. Though, Giyuu obviously sensed something wrong.
"Shinazugawa-san, you weren't listening to me, were you?" he dishearteningly said. Sanemi immediately felt bad, but tried to brush the feeling away.
"Uhm, yeah I was. I just don't care what we do. Just hurry up and plan out our steps already!" he scoffed. Giyuu shot him an 'I know you're lying' look and unknowingly pouted. Sanemi obviously realised, but Giyuu did not. Sanemi instantly started blushing, so Giyuu mistook that for him being unwell.
"Shinazugawa-san, are you okay? Your face is red, are you sick? Do you need to rest? We could always just pick this up later." Giyuu worried.
"What? No, you man whore. I'm fine, just hurry up and continue." Sanemi abruptly yelled. Giyuu was getting on his nerves.
"Ah, sorry then Shinazugawa-san. I'll continue." Giyuu apologised.
After a couple of hours, they finally managed to come up with a skating script to follow. A couple of jumps, twirls, etc. They also discovered that Giyuu was lighter than Sanemi, so Sanemi would be throwing Giyuu into the air for their throws.
"Alright then, Shinazugawa-san, I'll be heading home. I'll see you tomorrow at the rink. Remember, 6:30 in the morning." Giyuu waved as he was about to head out the door.
"Isn't it a bit late?" Sanemi stopped Giyuu.
"What do you mean?" Giyuu innocently questioned.
"I mean, it's 11 o'clock at night, dipshit. Do ya really think it's alright to drive so late at night? What if you get abducted by some sketchy dudes?" Sanemi argued.
"I'll be fine, I used to take karate lessons. I can defend myself. Thanks for caring, Shinazugawa-san." Giyuu faintly smiled, the corners of his mouth curling upwards. Sanemi blushed at the act, having never seen Giyuu smile, even the tiniest bit.
"Don't take it the wrong way, dumbass! I don't like you, I just... I know Oyakata-sama would kill me if you got murdered because you were leaving at such a late hour!" Sanemi tried to defend himself. Giyuu, being the oblivious guy that he is, believed him.
"Oh... okay. Anyway, I will be leaving now." Giyuu sighed. Sanemi's head pounded due to the amount of anger he was experiencing. 'Goddamnit, how dumb can this bitch be?!!'
"Didn't ya hear me? You're staying at my place tonight, whether you like it or not." Sanemi held the front door shut. Giyuu frowned at this act.
"You're holding me hostage in order to make sure that I don't get kidnapped and held hostage?"
"And murdered." Sanemi continued his sentence. Giyuu let out a sigh of defeat and finally backed down.
"Fine, I'll stay." Giyuu surrendered and made his way to the carpet. He laid down on it and curled up into a ball. Sanemi stared at him in both disgust and confusion. 'Is this motherfucker serious right now? What is he doing?!'
"What are you doing?!! Get off of the ground!" Sanemi shouted. Giyuu didn't respond, as he had fallen asleep already. "What the actual fuck... this man is a lunatic." Sanemi whispered. He carefully picked Giyuu up and placed him on the couch. Sanemi didn't want to wake him up, so he gently (or as gently as Sanemi could manage) placed a blanket over Giyuu's sleeping figure. Sanemi sat there and admired Giyuu. "Maybe he is kinda cute..." he murmured to himself. After a few minutes, he headed off to bed as well.
Little did Sanemi know, Giyuu had been awake the whole time, and was now blushing profusely.
