-Kyla's POV-

"Have fun tonight," Freya smiles as she walks out of her room in comfy clothes.

"Are you sure you don't want to come?" I ask.

"Yeah, go have fun. Josh and I have plans of our own," She says with a wink.

"Gross," I laugh as I walk to the stairs, "I'll see you guys later."

"Where are we going tonight?" I hear Evelyn ask as I walk into the kitchen.

"No idea. But as long as there's alcohol, I'm there," Freezy replies.

The group of us wait by the door for Talia and Simon to come down. They take longer than expected and we're in the middle of playing Charades when the two of them finally walk down.

"Our ride's here," Simon announces.

"Our ride?" Chris asks.

"Yeah. The place we're going to is roughly a 30 minute walk, so I thought it'd be better to drive," Simon says.

"I fully support that decision," Evelyn says and Simon laughs.

We shout a quick goodbye to everyone staying behind before Chip, Freezy, Talia, Evelyn, Chris, Ethan, Simon, Harry, and I walk outside. It didn't cross my mind when Simon mentioned it, but as the 9 of us stand outside of a singular taxi, we all realize it might have been better to take two cars.

"How's this gonna work then?" Ethan says.

"Should we order another taxi?" Harry asks, scratching the back of his neck.

"That'll take ages," Simon says, "I ordered this one about forty minutes ago."

"It's fine. We can all fit," Freezy confidently says, "That being said, I call shotgun."

Before any of us can argue, Freezy opens the passenger door and hops in.

We debate our options only a moment longer, but we soon come to the decision that it's easiest to just smush together in the backseat.

Simon is the first to go in the car and Talia sits on his lap. Ethan then climbs in and offers a hand to help Evelyn in the car. Chip, Chris, Harry, and I all stand there looking at each other until Chris sighs as he looks at Chip, "Looks like it's you and me, mate."

"Well don't sound so upset about it," Chip says, "There are plenty of people who would love to have me sit on their lap."

"Oh my God," I say, somewhat mortified, "Please never say anything like that again."

"I second that," Harry adds as he slides into the car.

I follow his lead and I feel like I'm hyper-sensitive as I sit on Harry's lap, trying to not put too much weight down. Chris and Chip are the last to get in the car and we hold our breath as Chris attempts to shut the door. Somehow, he gets it closed and we all cheer.

"See, I told you that we could make it work," Freezy comments from the front.

"Shut up, Cal," Ethan calls out.

We all wait for the driver to take off, but instead he just looks at all of us in the rearview mirror like we're insane.

"I can't see out the back window," The driver finally says, and Evelyn and I try our best to move out of the way.

"Why are there so many of you?" The driver says, looking unamused. Freezy tries explaining the situation, but eventually Chris reaches for his wallet. Chip nearly falls over as Chris tilts his body, but once he grabs his wallet, he pulls out a large bill and hands it to the driver.
