-Kyla's POV-

"I think this is the saddest moment of my entire life," Chip says as he falls backward onto the bed.

"We'll visit soon," I laugh as I finish folding my clothes and start shoving them into my suitcase.

"Promise?" Chip says.

"Yes," I immediately reply but then add, "Well...maybe not. But hopefully."

Chip sits up with a frown, "You're the worst."

"Hey, I'm not the one you need to worry about. You'll have to convince this one," I say, nodding my head toward Evelyn, "She's the one with the always busy schedule."

"Sooooo....hypothetically speaking, if I convince your two lover boys to buy you tickets to London next week, would you go?" Chip asks.

Evelyn smiles, "Can't. I have a business meeting."

"Are you really telling me you'd pick going to a boring business meeting over a free trip to London to visit your bestest friend in the whole world — I'm talking about me of course — plus Christopher Dixon?" Chip asks.

"Unfortunately, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying," Evelyn says before heading to the bathroom to grab her toiletries.

Chip and I share a brief glance, noticing Evelyn's tone of voice. Something feels off, but I have no idea what.

Chip hops up from the bed, "I'm going to go check on the boys."

"Sounds good. Let everyone know we'll be down soon," I reply.

When Evelyn walks back in the room, I ask, "Hey. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?" She says, not even glancing at me.

"I'm just checking," I say.

"I'm fine. I think I'm just sad the vacation ended so quickly," She replies, "I feel like we arrived two days ago."

"I feel the same way. I think everyone does. I could have stayed here for the next three months."

"I think if it was solely up to Talia, we all would," Evelyn says and I laugh as I unplug my charger from the outlet.

I huff as I shove the charger into the pocket and finally zip my suitcase. I sit on top of it before saying, "Chip's right though. We should plan a trip up before the New Year," I say.

"Maybe. I have a lot of work to do when I get back," Evelyn says.

"You couldn't take a few days off?" I ask.

"I just took two weeks off for this trip, I can't afford to take off any more time right now," She says.

I nod, completely understanding how she's feeling, "I don't even want to think about the amount of work I have to do when we get back."

There's a knock on the door before Harry's head pops around the corner. He walks in with Ethan following behind him.

"Do you happen to need two strapping young lads to carry your luggage to the car?" Harry asks.

"Please never say anything like that again, but yes, that would be nice," I say.

Harry grins as he pulls up the handle on my suitcase. I watch Ethan throw Evelyn's duffle bag over his shoulder and he jokingly winks causing her to laugh. We then head downstairs and see everyone waiting for us.

"There you guys are. We want to take one last picture before we head out," Talia says, showing off the polaroid camera in her hand.

The four of us run over to join the picture. Even though there's a spot next to Chris, it's painfully obvious that Evelyn wants to avoid him as she squishes between me and Simon.
