Dallas Everett
It's finally a new day.
I woke up, and it was finally the next day of school. I didn't really have the time to manage all the things that were left for me in my garage as I had no more energy to do such things anymore. It felt like my hobby was completely forgotten by me, like it wasn't a part of me already.
My phone rang exactly when I stood up, I took a glimpse and it was a call from Alex. "Did you get any updates on what I asked you to dig in?" I asked coldly.
"It seems like they do have a daughter. They're currently living in Mirage, it's the exact girl you said to me." Alex replied, and I shook my head. It was just a pure guess of mine, now that became something true."Got that." I ended the call and hurriedly fixed my uniform. I walk out of the closet, to get a fresh-made fruit juice January left for me. Even if we were siblings, we wouldn't go to school together. It's like we like going to what depends on our mood. She's also very subtle about being my sister, she didn't like having my name brought up to discussions just because I was her brother. She wanted to get approached at because it's her, but now that I see it she doesn't get along well with people.
I headed and took a ride off to the Hamptons. There I saw Dahlia walking towards the entrance. I heavily pressed the car horn as Dahlia was in the middle of the road. She might as well go in the middle of highway if she was wishing for her death to happen in an accident.
Dahlia looked at me in a deranged way. She walked towards the driver's side of my car and knocked on the window. I guess I'd consider this as our first interaction together, it wouldn't be bad hearing her out spit vulgar words to me. Definitely.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" as she spoke. I lowered my windows, and replied to her steadily. "Nothing."
I looked at her straight in the eye, examining her facial features.
She frowned her eyebrows at me and replied "Nothing?! You're a madman." As she slammed her hand to the hood of my car.
That made my day feel like shit, I wouldn't be lying. Though, I didn't feel bad for what I did.She could've died or gotten an injury if I didn't press my car horn right?

DahliaWhat the hell?
Have I done anything to offend him or he's just plain out a lunatic? You know what, nevermind him. I don't find him attractive at all. Not even once. Forget that I said it, I regret it blurting out the word attractive to describe that guy.I looked at my watch on my wrist and quickly ran to the building as the class started at 8:20, and it was 8:15. I arrived at the room exactly at 8:19. That was tiring. I even completely forgot that the fashion design and engineering students have Lunch and Phys. Ed as a merged period. The thought of seeing Dallas' face ruined my day, except it was already ruined because of earlier. So, meeting him again was just another trip to hell.
January walked in front of me and waved. Now that I think of it, January and Dallas are so different from each other. He's a cold one while she's the sunshine. I haven't even seen them interact with each other, but they were siblings. It's hard to notice that they were siblings because of how distant they were to each other. They treated each other more like what you could see in friends. They had a vast difference and that made me pay special attention to them both.
I wanted to celebrate the day I have made my newest friend here, it hasn't even been a week but I'm happy I got along with someone faster than I thought. So I called her in, as she walked inside the room. "January! Come, let's take a picture." I opened my phone and took a picture with January. "Okay, sure! Should I do the peace sign?" she asked while she was fiddling with her fingers as she did the peace sign, then there. I posted it with a caption My girl friend. <3
"Let's go grab a drink!" As I cling into January's arm. "Okay! Let's go."
We went to the nearest cafeteria in our building, and grabbed a lemonade for both of us. "Thank you, Dahlia!" as she smiled as soon as she received the lemonade. "Welcome. Call me Lia!"Dahlia was too long to say in a sentence, that's why my close ones preferred to call me Lia. It seemed too necessary to use as a nickname now. I looked at the calendar hanging on the wall, it was September 22.
My birthday was getting closer. I wanted to have a simple outing in January, since Katherine is busy with whatever she had in her schedule, she must have been attending photoshoots or what else. I asked her out, "January! My birthday's in two days, would you like to celebrate it with me? Just at my apartment.""That'd be great!" I saw a grin come out of my face, so a smile also voluntarily came out.
"January, it's our physical education class." a cold voice echoed.
It was Dallas, wearing a plain white shirt and gray sweatpants. His broad shoulder was seen through his shirt. His veins were popping from his arm.
"Dahlia? Dahlia?" I heard my name faintly as I got lost in my thoughts. "Let's go to the field, it's Phys Ed. Let's grab our uniform." January said. "Oh, okay, let's go." I replied steadily as I took a last look at Dallas who had been looking at me. Then I focused my eyes on the path I was taking.I was too flushed. His ocean, blue eyes were meeting mine, I had no idea but it made me so frustrated that I even took another glimpse. His looks made me go through everything I needed between those eyes looking at mine. His lips were so soft, it was like painted in a pinkish color tone, matching his skin tone so well. Hold on? What am I spitting out such nonsense?
There it was, a physical punch to my gut, making me realize.
I am getting used to him.
