Dallas Everett

I figured out myself that it was gonna be better to visit the garage, so here I am now, fleeing from home to go to my garage just because. I had always treated this garage like my second home. January was usually at Alex's house because she didn't know how to cook and I told her that I would be back home around midnight since I haven't visited this place for around a week now.

My phone rang and it was from Alex. I accepted the call and I could hear January shouting, I figured out that she was trying to cook. "Are you making my sister cook for you?" Alex's cough became louder, and I could hear footsteps as January's voice echoed. "Cooking for your sister was disastrous, I'm telling you." As he slammed his door till January's voice was no longer heard, and it was all muffled. "I got a client call. They said that a new guy is coming to get his car treated, to add he said you knew him." My other assistant, Michaelo, pointed at the guy who was looking back then I saw him looking my way. It was Julian. "Who the fuck said I knew this guy?" as I talked to Alex on the phone, then ended the call. I was more pissed that he thought I knew him when he was completely fucking irrelevant just until he offended Dahlia.

"Oh, it's you? It's Mr Perfect Dallas!" as he laughed like a jerk he is. "What do you need?" I asked coldly. "Can you fix this? Heard you fix things here. Fix this" he told me, as he was commanding me like I was a lowly. "I don't want to." I rejected him as my customer.

"You can't reject a customer like that." he shouted as his eyes widened. "I'm the owner. I can reject such customers like you who have no basic manners." as I walked away from him. "I'll leave you alone." as I walked a few distance away from him, I thought of the face as Dahlia sobbed. It made me feel frustrated and got myself to walk back and take back my words myself on letting Julian go easily.

I made eye contact with Michaelo. He knew what to do. He dragged Julian near my office. "Let go of me. Fucking jerk." Julian fixed his collar and his coat, as Michaelo was about to punch him. I had already stopped him. I knew how much Michaelo hated vulgar words directed towards him. I stared for a long time at him as he was laughing. I came close to him and replied to Michaelo. "Nevermind, do what you want." I watched Michaelo punch him in his abdomen multiple times. "I hate hearing vulgar words, so try to lessen it." as Michaelo patted his shoulders, I looked at Julian who was already losing his sanity. "I don't like anyone touching what supposedly mine is."
I meant her.

"No way, are you talking about Dahlia?" he laughed like it was so funny to him. "That whore is not worth a value. If you want, I can introduce you to someone!" he laughed as he whispered. He sounded just like a lunatic.
"Watch your mouth. Before I tear your mouth apart into fucking pieces."
I hated how he called my girl in such a ridiculous way. I grabbed a ceramic pot that I had nearby, and tried throwing it up into his face. He closed his eyes out of fear, and I laughed because of his reaction.

"Fucking pussy. Tell that to me one more time, the ceramics from this pot will dig deeper into your face." he ran from fear that I'd ruin his face. I made it clear that I didn't want anyone hurting her anymore. I remembered that he grabbed Dahlia's ass, even if I couldn't do that then no one was also allowed to do that. "What hand did you use earlier?" he looked at me as he wiped the blood off his mouth. "Was it the right or the left?" He looked at me and laughed, "What are you talking about?-" he stopped laughing and looked at me with much horror in his eyes as I grabbed his right hand. "I think it was this hand." I looked at Michaelo, and gave him an order. "I want every finger of his hands disconnected." I walked away and heard a sharp, high-pitched wail who was screaming for help, except I was the only person out there to help him out. Too bad. I don't want to.

I hated those who hurt my sister and especially Alex. They were the ones I care for the most, I don't know why I acted so recklessly just for Dahlia. I'm a madman, I don't know what's up. It's like I hated Julian because he touched Dahlia. I wanted every finger of his hands disconnected because I wanted them to lose the feeling or the thought of how those fingers held her deeper.

If I can't do that, no one else will.
I was like a desperate tiger that was hungry for its prey, that I didn't want anyone to devour my prey.
I despise those who hate her.
Even those who hurt her.

I went out to drive in my car out of the garage, I had lost my mood to stay there longer. I called Alex, and he picked it up. "How's that new guy?" he asked.
"Good." I replied coldly.
"That's not a good reply. I think you did something to him." he told me, since he knew me very well. He knew it from the beginning that I didn't know that guy "Julian" well since I was hard to befriend with.
"Mhm, he's on his own. He won't be able to hold a basketball for a while." as I heard a chair creak, and Alex shouted. "What?! You broke his hand?"
"I did, I'm on your way to your condo." as I continued driving, as I looked at my side mirror.

Thirty minutes after

"Thank you for the meal." as January smiled at Alex, and they both grinned at each other. I pinched Alex's right ear and ordered him to clean up the dishes. "We're sleeping here. I shall hear no words coming out from you." as I glared at Alex acting like his superior.

January left the kitchen and headed to sit on the sofa, now Alex spouted out his curiosity about the call I made. "Why'd you do that?"
"Just because." I told him as I sat, fiddling with a butter knife. "That's not the reply I want." Alex held down the plates in the sink. "He made me mad."
"Because?" I was quiet, and I couldn't talk to him because my pride was obviously too high so I couldn't tell him it was because of Dahlia.

"January told me about that girl Dahlia. You defended her? Impressive of you." He looked at me. "That girl tells everything about her school life, including mine." I looked at him, and glanced at my sister.
"She sounded like a nice girl in January though." I looked at him.
"Because she is." I looked at him as I slowly examined the butter knife. "Gotchu' now." he laughed as I slowly admitted.

In my head, we were nothing but strangers that turned into friends. Of course, we're no one.
Though, it must be what the twist of all great lovers?
