Jungkook thought about his short conversation with Namjoon, and how he'd been forced to lower his head whenever a problem with that family came through. It didn't matter how big the Bangtan clan was, and how much power they had even overseas, the slightest mistake with such a big family as the Choi one would put them all in a sensitive situation. A problem in Seoul would require the rest of the members to show up there, and leave the territories overseas, and he knew the consequences that could have. One little distraction could have awful consequences.

His only solution was to get rid of that family, but he wasn't sure how yet. Especially with the closest heritage of the lead to Choi Sanhyuk. He needed to find a way before that happened, because he was quite sure he'd try to take over Busan. His greedy ass wouldn't have enough with Jeollan. And if Busan fell under their control, it'd be a matter of time until he tried to take over Seoul as well.

His neck curved to the edge of the backrest of the couch, with his head almost hanging from it as he tried to think about anything else but the same old issues.

Long steps led his way to the first floor, as if the only thing that could keep his mind busy was up there. And his body wasn't wrong. All that uncertainty and excessive worry slowly vanished when a wave of possession and admiration ran over him. He contemplated the upper half of her body, still covered with the hoodie she took with her, while the other half was hidden behind the big mattress. Her head moved everywhere with curiosity, stopping at every new spot. Jungkook wasn't sure if she was actually curious, or if she was actually looking for a way to defend herself the second she realized he was there.

Not that it mattered anyway. It wasn't like she was going to find anything of use.

Her eyes kept traveling over the room, thinking of how she'd possibly be able to step while being there, and in that situation she was in. Was she just supposed to rest her head on the pillow and sleep peacefully? To be honest with herself, she probably would do it if that meant she'd wake up from that nightmare shortly after. But she was sure that would never be the case.

In between all those thoughts, a strange feeling replaced all those thoughts. She had the paranoid sense that someone was looking at her from somewhere, but she was too insecure to dare herself to look back over her shoulder.

The inner battle started, fighting herself on whether looking back or not. If there was no one, she'd play it cool and blame her overthinking and paranoid mind. But if Jungkook was there... How was she supposed to react if he was there? She almost drooled on his hand earlier, when all she had done before was throwing daggers at him -which was the most normal reaction, in her opinion.

—Do you want something? —she threw those words without giving it a second thought.

At first, she thought the only response would be filled with silence, but a thick voice was faster than the expected answer.

—I'm looking at what's mine —Jungkook's voice caressed her ears with such an annoying velvet touch.

She sat straight, her eyes fixing on one spot in the room while her fingers suddenly stopped caressing the soft blanket that was folded at the edge of the bed. Jungkook chuckled silently, aware that she wasn't the best at hiding reactions. Her whole body tensed as soon as he spoke, and he kind of loved that he was able to get such a reaction from her.

—Maybe you should give her clothes back to what's yours —she fought hard to get that response out, with the confidence and coldness she wanted.

—Tried checking the closet?

While they both were heading to a different destination when they landed, he sent two of his bodyguards to his home first. He was sure her suitcase had to be somewhere in a room that soon would be filled with clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry.
