Y/n was too busy trying to calm Eunsook down to pay attention to whatever was going on outside, or to prevent the door of that room from opening as suddenly as it did until it was too late. A couple of men stepped inside, on each side of the door, until they finally made room for Sanhyuk to step inside with his hands on his back. His chest was puffed with pride, and a twisted smile was formed on his face as his eyes were drowned to Y/n, hugged to Eunsook as if that would be enough to protect the young girl.

She couldn't fool him though. Y/n wasn't the type to take a bullet for anyone. She showed it when she threw Jungkook under the bus as soon as her priorities were put first. And he was sure she'd do the same to that girl if she was promised something that could benefit her. At the end of the day, she was just like him, and that was why he kept her locked tight. Sanhyuk was aware of what she'd be willing to do with no hesitation, and he wasn't taking any risks with her. He made sure of that as soon as she stepped inside.

—Making a new friend? —he grinned, squatting in between them both.

—You're sick. She's just a kid —those were the first words Y/n directed at him.

—If I told you who her father is, you wouldn't be protecting her as much —he looked at her.

—Do you think that justifies what you did?

—Never said I wanted to justify myself though. I don't need to, and even less with you —he shook his head with a funny smile—. Just want to know if you'll keep this big sister facade. Because her father fooled you just as much as I did —his ironic smile was making her blood boil.

Y/n squinted her eyes at him, looking down at the girl she was hugging tight. There was only one person that came to her mind, and it was the same person that led her way to the exact position she was in that moment.

She would've lied if she had said she didn't feel rage. For a fast second, she was tempted to let go of that girl, because she wanted Jihu to suffer just as much as she did those two weeks. But it was Jihu who had to suffer, not a girl that still seemed to be going to high school and that did nothing wrong.

Instead of letting go, Y/n held Eunsook tighter to her body.

—I'll actually make an offer to you —he continued—. She'll be auctioned, and you'll be handed to a man that will know how to deal with you —the way his eyes drilled in her skull made her move uncomfortably—. I know I said I'd sell you to a good guy, but that asshole offered millions just for you. You're exotic.

—Fuck off —Y/n said slowly, making sure he'd understand every single letter.

—I should take that as a no? —he smirked— Good, then.

After sighing, Sanhyuk stood up, placing his pants and vest properly, before pointing towards Eunsook. Y/n realized that something was wrong by the way those men tried to separate them two.

—What are you doing?

—What? Ruining your plans?

Cold sweat covered her body while he said that, smiling proudly as if he had read her mind like a professional. Sanhyuk bent over her body, enough for her to hear his voice with a whisper.

—If that bastard set foot in my house, it was only because I wanted him to do it.

Her heart was racing with every word he spoke, feeling dizzy over the sensation of it going way too fast for her sanity. When Sanhyuk stepped back again, and looked down on her with that annoying smile, Y/n felt tempted to send her foot up his throat. But, instead, in the middle of all her fast breathing and the constant move of her eyes, she asked for one last favor.
