Chapter Fourteen.

TRIGGER WARNING

Hours later, Kitana fluttered her eyes open softly. It was now dark outside, which caused her room to be pitch black. She blinked a few times, trying to fully register what was going on and wake herself up.

As she went to sit up, she realized that a strong arm was placed firmly around her. Looking down, she remembered that Justice came over earlier and was massaging her stomach before she apparently fell asleep.

She could feel his fingers on her skin, being that his hand was slightly underneath her shirt since it raised a little while she was sleeping. Justice's middle and pointer finger were near her belly button.

Kitana carefully reached over, feeling around and grabbing her phone off of the nightstand. She cut it on, squinting at the brightness of her screen as it shined intensely in her face. She turned the brightness down, before looking at the time.

It read 10:05, which indicated that they had been sleep for about five hours. Placing her phone back down, she then turned her neck to look at Justice. His head rested on her spare throw pillow, light snores leaving his mouth as it was slightly ajar. Even through the darkness, she could still make out the features of his face.

A silent sigh left her lips. As good as it felt to be in his embrace, Kitana knew she had to wake him up. They both had work in the morning, so nap time was over.

"Justice." She called out, tapping his arm. He didn't budge, so she repeated his name and tapped him harder.

That was enough to get him up. Justice opened his eyes, immediately placing them on Kitana

"What's wrong, you good?" He mumbled, still in a sleepy daze.

"Yes, I'm fine." Kitana chuckled. "You know it's after ten at night?"

"Aw shit, it is?" Justice frowned. "How long was I asleep?"

"Five hours, we both were knocked out."

"I didn't even realize I had fell asleep." He removed his arm from around Kitana, reaching up to rub his eye. "I'm sorry."

"No, don't apologize." She told him, shaking her head.

"How do you feel? You still cramping?" Justice asked her.

"Yeah, I am but it's not as bad as earlier. I still need to take that Midol." Kitana replied.

"Yes, you do. Matter fact, you gone take it right now." He said, getting up from the bed. Justice then walked over to her dresser, reaching into the bag from earlier. He grabbed the pink and yellow box of medicine and a bottle of water.

Kitana turned her lamp on, allowing the room to light up. Justice then came over to her as he opened up the box. He pulled out one of the packets, tearing it open. Justice shook two pills out, handing them to Kitana.

She grabbed the pills from him, placing them in her mouth. Justice then cracked open the seal of the bottle, unscrewing the cap.

"Drink." Justice said, placing the bottle to her lips.

She did as told, beginning to drink the water to wash down the pills. A few stray droplets rolled down her chin, to which Justice reached out to wipe away with his thumb.

"You swallowed 'em?" He inquired as she gulped. Kitana put the thumbs up, which prompted him to remove the bottle from her mouth.

"Aight, good." Justice said, putting the cap back on the bottle before sitting it on her nightstand.
