Chapter Twenty Four.

Five days later.

Justice sat in his mother's room, back hunched slightly as he was seated in her computer chair that was in front of the white HP 24" inch touch screen desktop computer.

His eyes were squinted as he looked at the screen, clicking on different Google links every now and then. It was currently going on four in the afternoon, and he had been sitting there for the past hour.

He was off of work today, meaning he had nothing but time on his hands to do some research.

Over the past few weeks or so, Justice had really been interested in fashion. In his free time, he would go on TikTok and watch videos for hours of outfits being styled and put together, as well as what type of clothes were trending right now in reference to big name brands.

It had him inspired to create his own streetwear clothing brand. He already had a name picked out, knew what type of items he wanted to sell, and has his logo sketched out. Now, he was trying to figure out how to actually get it started.

From what he'd read online, Justice was now fully aware that he needed to get an online storefront created, find a vendor to get sample pieces sent to him, and choose a good manufacturer.

The biggest issue was that he knew he'd need the right amount of funds to pull all of this off. To start up a small to medium sized clothing business, $500-$800 was required. And that was at the minimum.

With Justice having to pay his cell phone bill, Apple Music bill, give his mother money to put towards her bills and rent, buy his own separate groceries, put gas in his car every week to get to work, buying Ilani whatever she may have asked him for, etc., he knew that trying to save would be a challenge.

He might've not had major expenses that other people had like rent, gas, lights, internet, etc. but his were still very much valid.

One thing about Justice was that he almost always had to act on impulse. He was a 'do now, ask questions later' type of guy. Justice wanted to get the ball rolling for his business immediately, but his hands were tied due to his financial situation.

Applying for a SBA loan wasn't an option due to him not having established personal or business credit, work history, or any finance statements available. Plus, typing up a loan proposal just seemed stressful.

Justice obviously didn't want to work at Amazon forever, and he damn sure wasn't going back to the streets. He needed a concrete source of income, and most importantly something that he had a true interest in.

Of course, when it comes to being an entrepreneur, things could be high one day and low the next but that wasn't going to hold Justice back from moving forward with his plans. When he had his mind set on something, there was no changing it.

There are so many people in the world that go to work everyday and are miserable because they aren't doing what they love, and Justice wasn't about to be one of those people.

Hearing the jingling of keys coming from the front door, he quickly cleared his search history from the computer and exited out of the browser. Justice didn't want anybody to know about his potential business, not even his mother. He believed that talking about things prematurely could lead to mishaps or issues along the way.

Plus, you never know who could be speaking negativity over your life. Justice didn't want to jinx anything.

Quickly coming out of her room, he flew towards his own before she could see him. Settling on his bed, he grabbed his phone and acted as if he'd been sitting there the whole time.
