XIX.

Chapter Nineteen.

Once the clock struck 6:30 in the morning, Kitana was woken up abruptly. She blinked as the loud blaring of her alarm snapped her out of a good sleep. It was sad that even on the weekend, she had to get up this damn early. Usually, she would've slept in to about ten but that wasn't an option today.

Swinging her legs over the side of the bed, she reached over to turn off her alarm. A soft yawn left her mouth as she cracked her back, before standing up.

She headed to the bathroom while dragging her feet, turning on the light and shutting the door behind her. Going over to the toilet and pulling her bottoms down, emptied her bladder before flushing and going to the sink to wash her hands.

Kitana then brushed her pearly whites and gargled with some Crest 'clean mint' mouth wash, before flossing. She then used a metal tongue scraper to properly clean off her tongue.

Once all of that was done, she turned on the shower before putting on her shower cap. Her scarf slipped off during the night as she slept, which she wasn't too concerned about.

As the water heated up, she took off her pajamas and placed them in the dirty clothes hamper.

She then got in, pulling the shower curtain closed.

Kitana took a twenty minute shower, before getting out and drying off. Once out of the bathroom, she put on her deodorant and lotion as always. Kitana then slid a pair of underwear on along with her bra, before going into her closet.

She wanted to wear something simple and chill, considering she'd be sitting for around 6-7 hours. Her outfit didn't need to be over the top or anything. Settling for her olive green soft lounge pants and matching top from SKIMS, Kitana pulled them both off of the hanger.

She then got dressed, before picking out some shoes. Letting her eyes scan over her minimal shoe selection, she decided on a pair of tan Yeezy slide dupes she got from Amazon a month or so ago. They might've been fake but nobody would be able to tell. And if they could, then oh well.

Now thankfully, she could show off her toes comfortably since they were freshly done. Kitana exited the closet, shutting the door. She went over to her vanity and grabbed her hard bristle brush to smooth her ponytail back, before applying her stud earrings that her father got her for Christmas last year.

Once she was satisfied with how she looked, Kitana grabbed her phone off of the charger along with her car keys, and tossed them into her purse. She then grabbed her bag full of packs of braiding hair from off of her desk, placing it on her wrist. She double checked to make sure she wasn't missing anything, before exiting her room.

Kitana went downstairs, going straight to the kitchen. Opening her pantry, she pulled out a pack of peanut butter crackers, a bag of Lays, fruit snacks, and a mini bottle of Gatorade. She was bound to get hungry while being serviced, so she just wanted to be prepared.

Placing her snacks into her purse, Kitana then closed the pantry before exiting the kitchen. Since it was still early and she had a little extra time on her hands, she figured that she'd be able to stop at Dunkin Donuts for a breakfast sandwich.

Kitana made her way to the front door, and undid the locks. She pulled it open, before stepping outside. It was already a beautiful day, and the sun was just now coming out from behind the early morning clouds. Shutting the door behind her, she locked it back and then headed to her car.

Kitana couldn't wait to get her hair done, that's all she could think about the night before and while she was getting ready for the day.
