"It's so good to be alive."
Cordelia stared at her reflection in the mirror with pure satisfaction.
Sure her new body wasn't such a pleasant view, for her standards at least, she could have never thought of a body who wasn't hers to be as beautiful, but she wasn't going to complain after being finally freed from the boring seat of a mere spectator.

<< You're awake. >>
<< Mh? Why am I not surprised to see you here? >>

Richter had just came in the room, a warm smile colored his face as he looked at the vampiress he craved for so long.

<< Finally, a warm welcome. >>

Cordelia got closer slowly, her arms already open to offer an hug for the man who saved her heart and made her return possible.

<< You know, you are pretty cute like this. >>

Giggled Richter as he stared at his lover in that body so different shorter than her own.
While her snake-like eyes shined with the same dangerous yet beautiful charm Cordelia always showed with a simply smile, with Yui's innocent look and slightly shorter height, it created an interesting combination that was strangely adorable and the vampire was almost tempted to pick her up like he would have done with a child.

<< You really think so? This girl's body is nothing compared to mine, that was so much better... >>
<< But you are making it better with your only presence, my dear. >>

The two vampires kissed.
Cordelia closed her eyes in pure bliss as she carressed Richter's cheeks with her hands, sure she was able to touch and feel even in that "room" (it felt better to call it like that) where her soul and Yui's met when she tricked the girl into giving her full control, but to have a phisical body, to walk among the livings again and to touch with hands made of flesh and bones was an entirely different experience.

<< I missed you. >>
<< I missed you too. >>

It wasn't exactly a lie, not a "full one" at least.
No man could have ever been as important as Karlheinz in her eyes, her husband would have been always the one and only in her heart, but when he wasn't around (and that was pretty often) Richter was a satisfying toy to play with, really satisfying, in a few occasion he had been better than Laito.
"Speaking of Laito..."

<< Have you seen the boys? They left me all alone while I was speaking. >>

Said Cordelia mimicking a childish pout.

<< They're probably trying to recover from the shock, even your sons... >>

The vampire narrowed his eyes in disgust.

<< ... they can't even greet their mother properly. >>
<< I know. You give them life, you teach them to be the best and this is how kids repay you. >>

"But I know how to take care of the problem."
Cordelia had to hold back her voice or it would have come out as the growl of a beast, she was sure of it, the thought of what her own sons, the blood of her blood, did to her was enough to drive her insane, almost as much as remembering those days in which Karlheinz gave more attention to Christa and Beatrix while she waited for him like a mere dog awaited it's owner.
"Filthy traitors..."
First thing first, she was going to kill Yui for good and describe every second of her soul fading away like ashes in the wind, she was going to tell the story it in front of her sons and the other brats and engrave each one of their expression in her memory, to bath in their anger and sadness at the thought of their precious pet dying and her body being used by someone they hated so much.
"I could kill her myself instead of waiting..."
Thought Cordelia, if she was able to touch her in that "room", than it should have been possible for her to kill her, to suck her dry and bath in her blood and watch her fade slowly like humans deserved.
"Or I could... yes... I'm a genius!"

<< Richter, my dear, I think I've found the perfect way to make those vermins suffer and make that little animal useful. >>
<< Tell me. >>
<< You see, in my sleep I was able to interact with her like we were both alive and phisical, so I could perfectly go in that strange place and torture her untill she begs for death to spare her more suffering. I'd just need to go to bed and I'll be there. >>
<< So, you wish to torture her day by day? >>
<< Better, much better. >>

She brushed her hair aside and showed her neck, the marks of different fangs were still visible on the skin and the neck wasn't the only spot the brothers marked as theirs.
The girl's skin was like paper and each bite was a name being wrote on it, again and again, enough for the pen to pierce trough it and make those permanent like tattoos, to remember Yui who she belonged to. Cordelia had been able to hear the boys' words, everytime they called the girl "theirs", everytime one of them told her he was her Master, everytime they fought with each other out of jelousy and possessiveness and even those few occasions where they acted in a kind and almost caring way toward her.

<< They can deny all they want, but they desire this human, they want more then her blood and body... >>

Explained the vampiress.

<< ... it may not be an healthy interest, but the point stays: they would hate for her to be stolen from them, they would be so angry and suffer like every good vampire when you take away something they really crave. I could just wait for the link between our souls to dissipate and kill her, but if they crave her this much and hate me with almost the same passion, then how much would it hurt their pride and hearts if she jumped into my arms by her own will again? >>
<< Oh, I think I know what you mean, dear. >>

Grinning with twisted joy, Cordelia let her mind swim in the pleasant imagine of her sons and those of her rivals in such a pain.

<< Yes, I'll make her my little pet. I'll make sure she'll be happy and willing to surrender to me, body and mind, that will surely make them suffer like they deserve and, once I won't need her anymore, I'll simply dispose of her and enjoy her reaction as well... sometimes I scare myself. >>

Laughing like she had just heard the best joke in the world, the vampires held each other's hand and went to torment a bit the six brothers.

In the meantime, in a room that was identical to the one in the Sakamaki's mansion, Yui woke up from a sleep without hungry vampires to wake her up, it was her first "calm" night after many months of torment and she felt finally well rested.

"Mh? Cordelia?"

She was alone, but outside her window it was pitch black, but not like a normal cloudy night, it was as the world itself disappeared.
"Am I still dreaming?"
She looked around the room, but nothing was misplaced or missing, so she went outside to look for someone to tell her what was happening, there she saw herself walking away with Richter, the uncle of the boys.

"What?"

She went back inside the room and looked at her reflection in the mirror.
"But I'm still here... then how is it possible?"
Maybe it was Cordelia's doing, she promised to help her after all.
"I'll ask her."
She quickly ran to her body and touched gently her own hand, but it went though it like she was made of air.

"Am I a ghost?!"
<< What?! >>
"Oh? Can you hear me?"

Judging by Cordelia's shocked expression and her eyes staring perfectly in Yui's, she was able to see her as well.
