The room was silent, exceptbfor the faint sound of Azusa's breath -if vampires did breath at all- and the noises Yui's nails produced as she tapped the bedpost with those.
It had been easy to get the vampire boy where Cordelia needed him, moving Yui's body, she just had to unwrap Azusas's arms to use the bandages as ropes and tie his hands over the head, leaving the neck exposed as she grabbed the bandage around it and started pulling at it.
Vampires couldn't be choked of course, but that didn't mean that the boy couldn't feel the sensation she wanted to give him, the one she was ready to accept with no complaint at all.<< So, what can you tell me about this "Eve" you keep mentioning? >>
Asked Cordelia, trying to sound as casual as possible as she ran her fingers through the boy's hair slowly.
<< Uh? >>
<< Yui told me you and your brother talk about her a lot and I, we, got curious. Is she another relative? >>The vampiress carressed his cheek, then his chest, scratching the skin lightly so that not a single mark would remain, enjoying the look of desperate desire the younger vampire had.
She felt powerful again, that strong sensation of excitement she once treasured every time a new toy would fall for her charm was back, she was in control and he was like a prey: frail, helpless at her mercy, full of desire for the girl she was possessing and while it was annoying to not be the "only one", Cordelia could get over it.
The lust and the power she missed so much were worth it, after all, even the shortest moment of fun could make up for a whole night, every moment and every sensation were to be savored.<< Eve is... >>
Azusa started, his eyes fixated on hers.
On one hand, he was impatient to see how much she would hurt him and how happy he could make Yui's friend feel, but on the other hand, his heart was heavy, the simple fact that Yui wasn't Yui felt like the wrong note in a sweet lullaby.<< Yes. Keep going~ >>
Pulling the string, cutting his breath, the woman kept wearing that innocent smile until it turned into a scowl, as she turned to the wall behind her with a sharp: "What?".
She then waited a few seconds, listening to something he couldn't hear, then her mood changed again and her annoyance became terror.<< What's happening? >>
Asked Azusa as Yui's face became pale and "her" eyes widened in horror.
<< Is Yui talking to you? >>
<< They're here... >>
<< Who? >>
<< I need to hide. >>He could feel Cordelia trembling against his body, trying to hide how her breath became shaky and the young vampire couldn't help but feel pity at the sight.
He couldn't let Yui's body, her soul and her friend's soul get in trouble.<< Follow me. I'll keep you safe. >>
Nodding silently, the vampiress freed him, hoping her sons wouldn't be fast enough to find her.
<< Where are we going? >>
<< The library... it's big enough for you to hide... I'll warn my brothers. >>The boy picked her up in his arms, holding her close like a precious treasure as he used his supernatural speed to reach their destination as soon as possible.
<< Thank you. >>
Smiled Cordelia once she was on her feet again, watching Azusa go to his brothers and still trying to hide her fear.
"Get a grip! Stop acting like a coward!"
It wasn't like her sons had killed her just the day prior.
"Then why it's this hard to move on?!""Deliah? Are you alright?"
Asked Yui.
<< I am... >>
"No you're not. You're as pale as a ghost."
<< I'm a vampire Yui and you lost... I don't even know how many litres of blood before I came to you. We're both pale. >>
"You know what I mean! Look at you!"
She didn't want to do it, yet she forced herself to use Yui's phone's camera to take a peek at herself.
The body's was pale indeed, her eyes were wide and the pupils were dilated, almost like those of a scared cat rather than a snake. She felt again her breath coming shaky and uncertain and the heart of the human girl beating so fast, she was starting to fear the chance of a stroke."Calm down please, we need to think..."
Yui's voice was full of desperation and looking at her "projection", Cordelia found nothing different than her situation.
It felt horrible, to be that terrified of her own "products", to have her toy closer and be unable to play the role of a strong and powerful figure to admire, all because she was scared to death at the thought of facing Ayato and Laito.
She felt pathetic.
"Karl..."
Would her husband still love and protect her, or would he have been disgusted by her weakness?"Azusa and the others will protect us."
<< You put too much faith in them. Didn't you say that Azusa was the "nice one"? >>
"Yes. But his brothers always act like a bunch of immature kids when Ayato and the others are around. If they still can't stand the thought of sharing after all this time, I'm sure they won't mind playing on our side."
<< That's a pretty clever strategy, little Mouse. >>
As a smile grew on both their faces, the library door opened slowly.
<< Oh mommy~ ready or not, here I come~ >>
