Athena's time at stillwater has been very healing for her at first when ever a man would try to touch her she screamed and cried until Ana suggested that she speak to the pack therapist there she learned how to handle her emotions and each day the pack saw a new person come to life.
I got up and got dressed I can't believe how long my hair has gotten its down to my bum after Ana took me shopping and helped with tame my mane as she called it I realised that this pack was a family and I was wrong about king logan he is actually a nice guy atnd still hot as hell " god it's a crush his 27 years old for crying out loud" I am frozen " who said that?" The smug voice says " I did now can you stop blocking me please I'd like to make a fucking introduction " im freaking out here " hello Athena I'm persephone but you can call me sephie " I smile " you're my wolf" I jump up and down " yeah yeah yeah that me now let me see you" I look in the mirror and see her coming through " oh my child you are a vision such a beauty " my wolf tells me " I am" I say my wolf laughs " child never say you are not worthy oh my my " I pout " what's wrong?" She asks " I can't shift yet" I tell her with my head down " oh you will Athena and when you do you tell that hunk of meat logan that we run on all fours by full Moon" I smirk " will do" I whisper " now run along you're gonna be late" sephie teases I slip my flat shoes on and run for the kitchen where I hear Ana scolding logan " logan Christopher Blacklake that's for athena" I chuckle and they both turn their heads " there's the birthday girl" I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear " that's me" I joke " come sit dear we are having pancakes with chocolate filling and a serve of fruit salad" my eyes go large " Athena dear it's your birthday what would you like to do?" Ana asks me I'm shocked " no one has ever asked me that if I'm being honest sorry alpha" I say logan tilts his head " please call me logan or by my full name never alpha " I look at him confused " but you're my superior " he laughs " im a man with a title Athena but I'm still a man" he points out in my head think what a man you're a God I chuckle " something funny little one?" Yells out the beta causing logan to growl " betas and alphas are confusing" I whisper " says the hot and horny sixteen year old " I roll my eyes " shut it sephie " I say out loud " who is sephie?" I smile " my wolf" Ana logan and cyrus gasp " you met your wolf" I nod " she's chocolate colour with violet eyes" I see sephie wagging her tail in delight with the praise I gave her" I see she's a bit sassy" says Cyrus I growl at him then I realised my actions I immediately cover my mouth " sorry beta" Cyrus glares at me " it's Cyrus Athena " I look over at Ana who is smiling " Ana would it be okay if we had a dinner or something I'm not real big on parties" she nods " of course dear it's your day remember " as we finish up breakfast I go to leave " Athena?" Logan calls out. I turn my head." Yes, alph- uh logan, " he sighs." Would you care for a stroll it's a nice day, " he asks." Sure," and we head out on our walk
" That's the lake. Most of the pups play there, mother used to take us there each summer," he says, telling me of his past " I bet you were naughty " I start laughing " I was cheeky" logan admits " I never did thank you for saving me that day I do appreciate everything you and your family have done for me over the past year I know I'm not the most easiest person to get along with but thank you logan I mean it" I let him know " im happy that you're happy Athena " he tells me " what was your mother like?" I blink at him a few times " I don't really remember her that well but she used to run her fingers in my hair and she'd tell me stories of you and other royals she used to fight with my dad alot I guess she had enough one day and left" I smiled sadly " well you know those stories are bullshit right?" Logan says gritting his teeth " they are about my great grandfather logan Odysseus Blacklake the first of his name" he drawls with a dramatic accent " im nothing like him" I nod " oh I know that why the stories I was told were false but your pops was a wanker" logan bursts out laughing " Athena that's not very lady like" we stop at the front of the pack house " this is your home now please feel free to hunt around " he says " logan I'm curious about something?" I ask." What's up," I look away." How come you don't have a mate?" I see him stiffen." Well, I haven't found her yet. " I nod.
" oh sweet Athena if you only knew your mate is right here" I say to myself " oh mate is nice " Axel says sweetly " logan sephie said at full moon we run on fours" logan smiles " sephie will run along side Axel I promise you little one" I cringe at that nick name " why do you call me that?" I pout " well you're little and my ma- my friend that's small but has a huge personality " I say covering up my slip up hoping she doesn't pick up on it " well done genius " Axel says sarcastically " shut it furball" blocking him out " I have something for you at the palace " he say says " logan you really didn't have to get me anything my freedom is enough" I say he tuts " I insist please" he begs " fine your highness" he gets up and attempts to chase me I run up the stairs " oh come on old man" I tease " I'll give you old man young pup" we both start laughing " awww they make such an adorable couple" says one of the she wolves " happy birthday athena" one of logans warriors says " thank you mitch" I wave logan good bye and go to the day care centre I volunteer there plus I love being around those pups " hey beautiful " says lily one of the day care teacher and the betas very heavily pregnant wife" hey lils" I hum happily " oh happy birthday , we're you flirting with the king?" She teases wriggling her eyebrows " what um no " I said feeling my skin flare up " don't lie to me" she says " is being nice flirting" she rolls her eyes at me we enter the classroom and I see the pups playing around " say hello to miss athena" the pups stop " heloo miss thea" they call out " hi puppies" I say when Penelope comes running up to me " this is for you miss thea" I get them to call me thea as some find it hard to say Athena but I love what I do.
It was dinner time, and logan had insisted that we eat out doors as we do it was a beautiful night when Cyrus leans in to Logan " you have to tell her now you know" logan rolls his eyes " Athena do you like your cake?" I look up and see Ana asking me a question." Yes, it's lovely, " I say sadly." What is it dear?" She asked." it's silly, " I whisper." it can't be silly if it makes you sad, " Cyrus says." I just wish my mother was here. " I sigh deeply " oh sweet girl we can not change what is done but take heart in knowing she is with the moon goddess watching over you" Ana's sweet words warm my heart but it doesn't take away the ache " I know but a girl can dream" Ana changes the subject as the night continued Athena sat and Watched her new family laugh and enjoy her day.
All the while, there was something or something lurking in the dark watching the would be future luna with loving yet painful eyes.
