Logan and Athena were sitting at the table enjoying breakfast while looking after their nephew Dimitri when Marcus brought up about the trip to swiftmane " are you going to bestow your blessing to alpha Linus and luna Daphne regarding the birth of their child" he asked logan shot a forceful glance at his gamma " the trip in question you are referring to will be discussed between myself and my mate" Marcus feeling rather sheepish bowed his head " sorry sire, I just thought" logan nods and tilts his head to the door indicating that he should leave " so-" he says and Athena cuts him off " no I'd rather die than go back there" she states " sweetheart I know but I want you there as my luna and Queen, plus I know you love kids" he says trying to sweeten the deal " logan that's not fair Linus and Daphne did nothing when I told them about what my father was doing you know you saw the scars" she said without hesitation " love I know that but he gave you away and I want to show them what they lost because I gained a beautiful mate and Queen " Athena narrowed her eyes at her mate " so I'm a psychological weapon?" she said putting her cup of tea on the saucer " yes but no, baby I want you there at my royal visits even the suprise ones" Athena groaned loudly " and my former pack swiftmane happens to be first on the list ?" Logan cups her face and kisses her softly " hmmm" he says " fine I'll go" she says with a touch of reluctance in her voice " thank you baby girl " logan hugs her she smiles weakly at him.

Later that evening they are cuddled up in bed logan was reading his book and Athena curled up beside him he placed the book down and pulled her closely to him taking in her scent and letting it take over him " thank you love for coming with I know you don't want to" he said rubbing his and up and down her back " im scared" she admits he kisses her forehead " I know. I know how hard this must be for you, and I am going there every step of the way. luna blacklake let swiftmane say something about you now, " making her giggle, he kisses her with passion.

That night they explored each other's bodies on a deeper level and laid in each others arms Athena allowed sleep to claim her logan watched her sleeping frame and knew at that moment what he needed to do to tie her to him in every way.

Logans alarm went off and he turned over and switched the lamp on " ahhhh make it stop" Athena moaned " we need to get up love" he whispers " no, I'm never getting out of this bed " logan raised his eyebrow " never?" He says wrapping his arms around her " im packing for one night" logan pursed his lips " pack for three babe" Athena frowned as she packed then headed to the shower where her mate joined her they couldn't even enjoy the closeness of their wet bodies because they needed to be on the road before sunrise a town car was waiting for them they got in the car with Cyrus driving " never though I'd be coming back here" Cyrus says while driving " it's seems between Linus and Daphne disturbing Lake moon pack they found time to have a child" Cyrus nods " thea did you ever think you'd go back" Athena looks at her brother " honestly no I thought I'd be dead by now but the moon goddess had other ideas" she says looking back out the window " im here and I am not leaving you" logan says taking her hand and rubbing small circles on it " I know but history doesn't change" she says " but thea you did change for the better you're a fucking queen" Cyrus says " language beta" she taunts " sorry luna" he says while logan watches brother and sister banter each other " gamma Luke is a good guy" she mentions " he helped me out once or twice he even listened to what I had to say" logan nods " very well" he smirks at her with lust in his eyes " alpha logan you horn bag" she giggled as he lifted her up onto to his lap " we got time let's make the most of it" he winks at her and she shook her head.

They arrive at the boarder and the three of them reach the stairs "guess no body was waiting at the door "logan says rolling his eyes Cyrus knocks again then a girl answers "your highness" she says " well are you going to let your king in" when she was about to open her mouth she was cut off " welcome your majesty" it was Linus " ah see you brought back the stone girl, well chop chop get to the servants quarters " logan was seeing red " that's how you address your queen show some respect " he growled " king logan she's the mate you announced?" Linus said as his face paled he rushed inside while the young girl ushered them inside Athena looked at her mate and wished she could talk to these people like this " king you are so cool" she says in a mindlink " it's all for show love " he says.
