" lead on" Cyrus says all of a sudden two wolves who looked rouge stand and protect king logan as the other men stand on the charge and the rouges take out three wolves from the challenging packs logan looks at the pups and motions them to stand with him and the others logan and his man now take charge and fight the other who are coming toward them taking hits and stabs you could hear bones breaking and howls of thoes being hurt from the guns being used with silver bullets using his keen sense of hearing logan zoned in on one person only he found alpha rickson and locked eyes on him scencing that he was being watched the alpha turned and pointed at gun at logan and the king run at him while shifting in mid air in to his lycan causing rickson to shift in to his the two lycans were fighting clawing and tearing at each other while the many men around them continued to fight rickson slammed logan down to the ground he got up and growled " you fucking coward " logan said " I'm not a coward logan you are a whining bitch just like your father and just like that whore of a mate of yours" rickson bit back but Logan knew what he was doing rickson was baiting him but axel bit down on ricksons ankle making him yip in pain the two wolves kept fighting rickson trying to use wolfbane but logan blocked it " I will take over this pack and land" he bated the king " you broke the treaty and you will be punished " logan roared.

He held rickson down by his throat. " As declared by the kings law and the fact that I'm king today, you will die by my hand. Do you have any last words? Rickson looked at logan " go fuck yourself and your mutts " rickson said as he spat out blood then logan yelled " ricksons pack watch and learn" Logan roared everyone stopped as he ripped out ricksons throat and held it up for them to see " his death is your death now so be it" Logan said wolves howled and the battled raged on.

There were bodies dropping blood was every where.

But it was over logan, got swiftmane back, and now the hard part figuring out what do next .

Logan pov:

I'm standing here observing my men and I see nothing but strong men who left their families to fight beside me and my two best friends Cyrus and his brother in law hunter " stop looking at me like I'm lunch asshole" hunter barks at me while laughing " I can't you're so delectable " I blow a kiss to him " you did good man you're a great leader" he said making me smile I knew my girl would be proud " alpha the Dr is here" forje said " let's get these men looked at Dr asap" I said as I used my alpha tone and then was looking at the wounded and sadly some of the dead " seven hells, they fought well and should be honoured as such" i say howling loudly so it could be known that we were mourning the loss.

" your highness I need to look at you" the Dr asked me " no need I heal fast thanks to my alpha blood" he says " see that you just tend to the wounded " the Dr nodded " very well alpha" i rubbed my temples " hunter by the way congratulations on finding your mate" I mentioned he simply nodded " your men fought well" I said to the smug bastard.

As I was talking with many of the men I realised something my father told me in battles there are those who become the casualties of war it's our job to make sure that doesn't happen as king it my sworn oath to protect my packs that I rule and govern today I saw how one man's greed could drive another man to think he has power to over throw a ruler alpha rickson died by my hand today leaving no heir no mate nothing his pack has been dispatched and will cease to exist and as for Linus he will have to face the wolves council he will need and goddess and a prayer by the time they are done with him.

I see a young pup running towards me " alpha logan" he called to me I look at him " yes" he stops " there is a call for you from a lily " I look at Cyrus and I follow this young pup in to a tent " hello" I say I hear lily tell me that my mate hasn't been feeling well and she's worried " i'll be finishing things up here and I'll be home soon just stay with her lily" I say frantically I rush back to the wounded as they are my priority at this moment " my mate is not well" I say " she's worried with fright most likely " one wolf says " not unheard of with new mates" I looked at him " no idiot she's sick" I growl at him baring my teeth " if I were you I'd back off, never insult his luna or my sister " my beta warned.

Two things a man can with stand in battle it's blood and being alert, but knowing your men are injured extremely exhausted and home sick is other.

I converge with a few elders in regards what to the traitor Linus. " What about my mate?" He pleads " you should've thought of that before you got in bed with rickson" I say " have a heart logan" he says " I do just not for people like you, I have a better use of my time" i brush my hand away.

" king logan we will speak soon once again thank you " he says " anytime" I tell elder James " my congratulations by the way I heard you became a grandfather " he simply nods " yes sir I did my mate and I are very happy  " and drags Linus away with him.

"I better head off until next time logan" hunter says I shake hunters hand " athena and I expect a wedding invite" i joke with him " yeah,yeah stronzo" we both laugh " say hi to your mother and father please" he nods leaving with his two men.

Logan and Cyrus are aching to get home as are most of their men as they pack up.

They get ready to load up and go home. The battle is over and done.

I stop for a minute. " You two," i look at the two rouge wolves. " What's your name?" I asked them the boy with blue eyes, says," Jake, your Highness, and this is my friend flower. " he nods," You fought diligently today and very brave. How would you like to join my pack? They both smile. " we would love too," they say .
