The weather was surprisingly great and Cally was done with all her assignments that Saturday. She reminded all the girls about the little hangout plan before leaving early for breakfast. She wanted to say hi to her Hufflepuff friends before everyone got to the great hall.

The gryffindor girl scanned the great hall for the Hufflepuff trio she was looking for, which wasn't hard to find at all given that the hall was very empty and her friend had bright red hair. She basically skipped to the table where her friends where sitting.

"Boo! Ugh why didn't your hair color change Cal?" Callianna asked with a faked annoyed voice.

"Well, morning to you too Cal." the boy said smiling rolling his eyes.

"Scoot over pal, the guest of honor is here." the short blond haired girl said.

"Why thank you miss Marcy. Anyways how have you guys been? I missed you all awful lot this summer!" Callianna exclaimed.

After they caught up and the great hall started to fill with people, Callianna ruffled the red haired boys hair and went to the Gryffindor table, gaining a middle finger from the boy.

"Morning Peter! How's everyone doing today?" she asked with great excitement.

"Morning Callianna." Peter replied making the girl cringe at the name.

"Who is Callianna? Call me Cally please." she replied before being cut off by Potter.

"She meant Annie wormtail. Call her Annie that's what she prefers." said James. Cally tried pushing him off the table hearing the stupid nickname the boy gave her when they were kids.

"Why don't you like your name anyways?" Remus Lupin asked the girl.

"I don't know. Guess it's just too long and I prefer my friends call my Cally." replied Cally.

"I think it's a beautiful name. What does it mean?" the tall boy asked with interest. That made James scoff before leaving and saying "I'm leaving you guys and your nerd talk."

"It comes from the saying Kalos Andros. It means lovely one." Cally replied ignoring Potter.

"Well it sure does suit you. You're a lovely person yourself." Remus said making the girl blush before thanking him.

After everyone had eaten their treasured meals, Cally told everyone to go find a table near the black lake and wait for her while she brought something from her dorm. After she came back with a deck of Uno, her and Lily started to tell everyone about the rules of the muggle card game.

Since there weren't enough cards for everyone, they decided to team up. " Alright so i can team up with Evans." James jumped into the empty place at the bench next to Lily.

"Well Peter and i will also make a good team." said Remus not leaving his seat that was already next to Peter.

While all the teams where almost settled down, Cally and sirius seemed to be the only ones without a team.

Before anything could be said, the boy jumped almost shouting "No! I'll team up with Marlene!" making everyone stare at him judging.

"Okay? Let's start the game then. Me and alice will beat all of y'alls arses anyway." the Clark girl said.

After 7th round, everyone started to give up because of the red haired girl and curly haired boy. They were surprisingly good at the game. The only time they didn't win was the time Peter and Remus won.

After being done with the card game, everyone started to conversate with each other.

Peter and Remus were talking to Mary, Dorcas and Alice about the prank at the potion lesson.

It seemed like the perfect time to Cally to talk to Sirius. It has been bothering her for a while now since she started noticing how the normally fun and energetic boy was awfully quiet around the girl.

She threw her hand on his shoulder cheerfully before also signaling to Marlene about Lily and James. Sirius jumped at the gesture and Marlene left to join the girls, leaving the duo mostly alone.

"Hey Sirius! Mind if i have a word with you over there?" pointed Callianna the black lake's direction. James, Sirius and the red haired girl stared at the girl with judgy looks.

"What are you lot looking at? I'm obviously taking him to the broom closet to do very unholy things, right love?" she joked hoping Sirius would match her energy.

The eldest Black son went along with Callianna's little play thankfully. "Yes honey. They're obviously jealous let's go." he said before leaving with the girl holding hands jokingly.

"Aye! Don't get too comfortable pads, I'd have to be the one to explain to her mother if you knock her up or something." James yelled after them and Sirius replied one last time "Go snog a tree Prongs!" before walking away laughing with the girl.

"See, i knew you had it in you. Now would you like to elaborate on why you're acting like i killed your mum?" Cally asked sitting under the tree just before the black lake.

Sirius basically slumped down next to the girl before sighing and explaining. "Yeah i see how i may have come off like an arse, but after you saw me at the town this summer I didn't want you to take pity on me or anything."

"Wait hold on. So it was you indeed. Thought i was hallucinating, merlin." the girl said shaking her head. "But still, why would i pity you Black? I didn't even know it was you." Cally asked very confused.

"It's my fault for assuming I guess. Sorry for avoiding you then. It actually has to do with my family. Their twisted ideals about blood purity and shit. We..." stopped the boy, words not coming out of his mouth.

Cally put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him. "It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it, I can only imagine how hard it must've been for you. But i'd like you to know that whatever happened, i'd never judge you nor pity you." .

The girls words seemed to work a little. The boy felt a little more at ease before opening up about his situation.

"We got into a huge fight this summer. They basically disowned me, calling me a blood traitor. Losing a son didn't matter to them much because they already had a second plan, my brother Regulus."

Cally was listening to what Sirius was telling quietly. Trying to comfort him the best she could. She was scared by the things his parents and pure bloods were doing to muggle borns like herself. She was discriminated by some in the school but the actual cruel things in real life that Sirius told were much more frightening.

After their talk, Callianna gave Sirius one last hug before returning to where everyone was, followed by the boy.

"Heard 'bout your bet with Moony. You trying to set them up?" Sirius asked enjoying the every bit of the drama. The girl laughed at his statement before nodding.

When they finally arrived the curly haired boy and the red head were still deep in talk about some books.

Although the day went peaceful and joyful, Callianna noticed Snape and his friends staring at their direction whispering to each other. The hooked nosed boy gave the girl a scoff when he noticed the stare before leaving.

Callianna had a lot to think about in bed that night. But she was pleased with her new friendships and didn't want to bum out her own mood.

Thankfully she didn't have the time to think about such things before falling asleep due to tiredness.
