The first trip of the year to hogsmeade was in three days. Everyone was so excited, some were planning to hang out with their friends and some were excited to go on dates.

Cally was none of them. She was nervous. Mostly because she has had a rough week avoiding the Slytherins and because she wanted to ask Remus to hang out with her this weekend. It sounded like a date.

Remus on the other hand was waiting for the right moment to ask his library company on a date this weekend. He was afraid his friends would do something stupid if they were around, so he was waiting for the moment they wouldn't be around.

When they both finally felt like it was the right time, they asked at the same time "Wanna hang out this weekend?" "Would you like to go to the Honeyduke's this weekend?"

They shared a laugh before Cally held her hand out, asking "Deal?", which the boy greatly took and replied "Deal."

"So, you and Potter are having a date then?" Mary asked with a smirk. Lily blushed at the comment.

"It's not a date! He just asked if i wanted to go to the three broomsticks with him. You guys should come too!" the redhead defended.

"No thanks, i'd rather die than to be the third wheel." Marlene said, supported with a nod from Alice.

"Exactly. I want to go to Zonko's. Will you accompany me Cally?" Dorcas asked, making the curly haired girl purse her lips with guilt.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. Me and Remus agreed to go to the Honeydukes." Cally said.

Most of the girls gasped at the information. Lily commented with great complaint "So you do have a date. And i'm the one being interrogated."

"It's most definitely not a date. We just agreed upon going to the candy shop. It's not even half bad as what you and Potter are doing." Cally defended herself and Remus.

When it was finally the time to separate, girls ordered some sweets from Cally and they agreed on meeting at the three broomsticks at 5 o'clock.

The boys arrived with great clutter. Remus smiled at Cally and Cally returned the smile. After everyone separated, Remus held his arm out "Shall we, mademoiselle?" , which Cally took before saying "After you, monsieur."

Lily and James were having plenty of great time at the three broomsticks, not aware of what consequences their innocent date will have.

"Did you know Remus made a bet on us?" James asked suddenly, never once stopping grinning.

"I'm afraid i'm aware. Cally has this stupid habit of being stupid." Lily said rolling her eyes while also smiling.

"Well, can you blame her? Annie is on our side, unlike Remus. Smart girl she is huh?" James said before sipping on his drink.

"Hey! What are you implying?" redhead asked, blushing furiously. The reaction made the boy laugh.

"What i'm saying is, you're a pretty girl and i'm not bad myself at all. Not right now maybe, but we sure would make a great couple." James said.

Lily got a little quiet after hearing the boy. She agreed to some extent, but she was still fresh out of her almost 2 year relationship.

"James... I know what i'm doing is probably wrong. I'm sorry if I mislead you but-" she started before being cut off by the boy.

"I know. It's not your fault Lily, I accepted it even though i'm aware so let's call it draw. But as long as fancying you doesn't harm anyone, I don't regret it." James replied, sending the girl an understanding smile.
