   It was the time of the year where every witch and wizards and muggles dressed up in costumes and held spooky parties together. Hogwarts' every bit was covered in pumpkin decorations and there were much more ghosts floating around than usual. You could hear many students screaming, startled by the ghosts coming out of every wall.

    Cally loved the holiday. It was one of the few things that the girl was familiar with in her first year in the wizarding school. She celebrated Halloween every year with her parents when she was a kid. Of course, there was no real ghosts or enormous pumpkins at their Halloween celebrations, but it still reminded Cally of good memories.

     The classes were cancelled for the day and most of the students were going to the hogsmeade trip. Cally and her friends decided to stay at the castle and throw a small party. Marlene and Sirius were the ones to throw the idea, of course. But everyone agreed on it.

      Cally was getting ready in her shared room with the girls. She was starting to get dizzy from looking at the mirror because of her costume. Almost everyone was ready, waiting for the clock's to hit 8 o'clock. Lily was dressed up as scarlet witch, marlene was wearing a matching archie comics costume with Sirius, Marlene had her blonde hair in a ponytail for her Betty costume and Sirius was gonna be Jughead. Mary was dressed up as a vampire, going with the classics. Dorcas and Alice actually went on the Hogsmeade trip, saying they liked like the Halloween atmosphere.

     "Do you know what the twins and Callum's dressing up as?" Lily asked while putting on her lipstick. The Scarlet witch costume shocked her friends when they first saw it. Not expecting the bold costume from their rather modest friend, but they were very pleased. "Don't know yet, they wanted it to be a surprise." Cally responded to the redhead. She didn't read much into the question as she was friends with them too.

     "Shit, i think i forgot to tell them the password." Cally realized. "I'm quickly gonna go get them or we'll have to listen to the fat lady's whinings for weeks." she explained while making her way to the door.

      Cally opened the door that lead to the stairwell, anxiously waiting for her friends. When they finally showed up, she quickly signed them to get inside. When they were finally in the common room, she observed their costumes. Zoe and Zelda were dressed up as red queen and white queen from alice in wonderland. Callum was in a wolverine costume, making Cally giggle at the bright yellow suit.

      "What are you wearing?" Zelda furrowed her brows, "Or what are you lacking?" Zoe laughed. Cally laughed at the way the twins were in rhyme "You guys should've picked tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum, and you could be the mad hatter." she pointed Callum. "Damn it." he whispered to himself.

     "But seriously, who are you dressed up as?" Zelda repeated her question. "I'm lucy from i love lucy of course! It's a nostalgic tv show, i even managed to find a charm to turn myself black and white." Cally explained excitedly. "Tv is the thing with the glass and antennas right?" Zoe asked the girl, making Cally nod in order to answer.

     "When's the party starting, did you set us up?" Callum asked with his usual monotone sarcastic tone. "Boys should be down in a few minutes, i'll go check the girls. Behave." she ordered before climbing up the stairs.

     "The twins and Cal are here, you guys should come down too, it takes more than four to start the party." Cally excitedly told the girls. "You're awfully more happy and energetic today than usual, what do we owe the pleasure?" Mary asked the girl with a grin. "It's Halloween! I love Halloween ever since my childhood. Of course we don't have fancy costumes like that at home, plastic masks are the best you can find in a muggle town. But it was always the most fun spending the holiday with my family." Cally explained with a huge smile.
