"why...why did you put all that effort into saving me?" kyouka asked tears in her eyes, like she wasn't holding a knife to name's throat.

"what do you mean by that?" name is very confused at this conversation and what tf is happening.

"why did you go through all that effort, people don't do that without wanting something in return, who do you want dead!" oh gods, kyouka had been taught to think that way?

my arms aren't restrained or anything so I use my hands to make kyouka stare straight into my eyes, "kyouka, i'm not that type of person, I would never ask you to kill someone but..."

"but what?" oh no name accidently convinced her that she wanted something.

"kyouka if I ever ask you to do something like that, you have full permission to kill me" that made her eyes widen.

the strength that she had been using to hold name down vanished, "your serious?" she asked.

"yes, I'm serious. I don't know what role you have or what you've done in the past but I won't force you to do any of those things and if I ever do, you can take my life"

kyouka got off of name and they headed downstairs, everyone was still there and name finally realized why the armed detective agency had come here.

to decide the fate of kyouka.

but why did they have to do it at names house?

name doesn't have enough couches to hold so it appears atsushi had done the smart thing and gotten the party chairs from name's closet, everyone was sitting down raiding name food. eating it as if it wasn't bought with money that tecchou gave her when jouno was mean, ugh that hard earned money....

though name almost lost it when she saw the president fukuzawa eating candies shaped like cats.

"so your going to keep kyouka at your at your house with atsushi?" the president asked, his stern face back.

"yeah"

"what if she does something?"

"uhh.." name pondered on that for a second, "go to jail for her?" everyone became shocked all at once.

"name you can't sign your life away for someone you just met" yosano explained to her, "yeah I can" name responded back.

it seems that the most powerful girlboss and name were about to argue but kyouka barged in before it can start.

"I want to repent for the things i've done in the past" that shut everyone up, fukuzawa made eye contact with her letting kyouka continued.

"name told me that it wasn't my fault since I was influenced by adults to do that, I've thought about that, I came to realize that it was both my fault and the adults. it's their fault for making me be that way but it's also my fault for not listening to what my heart told me to do" then kyouka got up and bowed to everyone, "so please, give me the chance to repent for my mistakes!"

the room was silent and name was impressed with kyouka's mature stance, when name was her age she would never been able to admit that.

though fukuzawa's face still remained stern as ever it worried name, then a very long second passed and he said something.

"alright, we'll give you the chance to join us, what you do will determine if your worthy"

kyouka's face went ever so cheerful, she sat down and fukuzawa's attention then went to name.

"by the way name, how exactly did you and dazai start dating?" name's face flushed, mostly because yukichi is the last person name ever expected to have asked that question.

"wha?what do you mean by that?"

"it just came so out of the blue" 'we didn't even know each other at that time' name thought but kept it to herself.

"well we were with atsushi, we talked about how were both bi, then he was like 'do you want to be girlfriend and boyfriend' and I was like okay! that how all relationships start"

everyone in the room including kyouka proceed to deadpan at name, "name, that's how middle school relationships start, were adults" yosano explained to name.

"wait what"

"you go on a couple dates first, get to know each other, kiss. do the adult thing that adults do" oh crap, name and dazai haven't done any of those things!

name hopped out of her chair ever so aggressively, "alright i'll go track him down! we have to do all those things"

about to run of name freezed suddenly realizing something, "hey guys? where exactly is dazai?"

there where a bunch of 'I don't knows' and 'hmhm" in the room, kyouka coughed "uhh about that...."

later name tracked dazai down, apparently he went to his apartment, it was typical.

Name had never actually been to his apartment, she expected lots of things like prank toys or fakes spiders. What she didn't expect was to see dazai all sad on a single bed.

going closer to him name saw his depressed face, worried name asked what's wrong, his answer however made the worry vanish.

"chuuya wasn't nice to me!!!!!" this little sh*t head, name bonked him nicely on the head while pulling his face on her lap.

"oh really? what did he do?"

"didn't worship the ground I walk on, like the dog he is!!!" name then proceeded to smack him on the head only this time with a bit more force, he let out a rather loud whining sound

"Nameeeeeee" he complained.

"don't treat him that way, he isn't Your dog" dazai looked board for a second before his face lit up, showing that he clearly had an idea.

"in that case would you be my dog name? I need one if chuuya isn't there" he asked, name smiled.

"of course i'd be your dog, but in return you've gotta pamper me because i'm your cute little doggie" name responded.

dazai's eyes widened a bit, that was not the answer he expected from name.

he lifted his hand to reach name's face caressing it slightly slowly bringing it closer to his own.

"are you sure doggy that you can handle me?" he asked.

"that's a stupid question to ask a dog" name responded, dazai laughed a bit before getting even closer to name.

then they kissed.

extra: thousands and hundreds of miles away jouno was busy torturing criminals for the sin of being alive. He was having a great time until his spidey senses starting tingling.

"someone is kissing name right now" he accidently said out loud.

"how the heck do you know that?" asked tecchou who was currently trying to stop jouno from torturing criminals.

"shut up tecchou"

"okay" tecchou listened to his wife.

jouno then started planning more murder....

authors edit: I just realized that some people came here for the x reader stuff. so any character within name's age(20-45) can be a romantic or platonic, it's really up to how you see it. characters out name's age(19-0 or 46-death) will be STRICTLY platonic and If I see any people simping for the younglings I will bodykick you(unless their your age)
